Recent Recruiting News: Offers and Commits

Both were Power 4 Offers from Univ. of Maryland and Penn State. A player I saw in the beginning of the year live in his first ever varsity game and Anton balled out from the first snap. Surprised it took this long for him to get his first offers as he is easily one of the top freshman prospects in the area. Was able to get eyes on him once again back in September and he showed great improvement this season and that showed with offers that followed. Logan picked up Norfolk St. &amp; Temple offers earlier this month before making his commitment to Temple recently. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Logan is a physical, aggressive, and mean IOL with power/strength. He shows heavy hands, fights tough once engaged and gets after dudes. Logan also shows good athleticism for the position, able to pull and get out and run. He's got a nice long frame that will fill out well in the years to come. Plays smooth and sudden with quick feet / hips. Girton also has the speed to go with his size as he ran a 11.2 100M last spring as freshman. He lines up on both sides of the ball for Great Mills at WR/DB, but I think he will be best as a S in college. He plays fast, shows range and is quick to close on the ball &amp; strike. DeNairo just picked up his first offer from Univ. of Maryland the other day and more are certainly in his future. He's had an impactful season for the undefeated QO Cougars, and a player I got to see live in game the other month. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">He's developed his frame well and improved his athleticism and explosiveness over the last year. He can play either side of the ball at TE or DE and I can see him getting recruited at either depending on fit/scheme. At TE he is an inline TE who is sure handed and can work the middle of the field/seam as well as being a reliable red zone option.  At DE, he has nice get off &amp; a quick first step. Able to slip blockers and get skinny to shoot into the backfield for TFLs. Diego plays with high motor and competitiveness at either spot. He also has offers from Howard and LIU. He is a player I have been high on since DeMatha's first game this season where he balled out against St. Joe's Prep (PA). A prospect with a basketball background, Jordan made excellent strides in his game going into this season. Adding strength/bulk and developing as a pass rusher. His game is a nice combo of speed &amp; power as he has great get off and can chase down ball carriers. While also able to fight through contact with good leverage and strength. NC A&amp;T was his only offer so far and he picked up that offer in the first week of October. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I was able to see Ryheem earlier this fall live at practice and he looked every bit the part in person. All of 6'5 with a great frame to fill out. He is a basketball player still new to the game of football with tons of potential. With good bend and length / frame to go along with his overall high level athleticism. He is smooth in his movement and COD, leaper/bouncy on his feet. He's a long lean body WR with a smooth stride who comes off the ball with nice acceleration. Able to get on top of the DB and pushed vertical, Korey tracks the ball well and shows natural hands. A player that has taken his game to the next level this season.
