Midseason Report- 5 New Talented Prospects On Our Radar

He's quick with his release, can get downfield fast, and can make contested catches through coverage and contact.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>Johnson adds a ton of value with his blocking. He's a physical blocker who helps open up huge opportunities in the run game for his teammates. He plays with great speed and pursuit and can work from sideline-to-sideline against the run and pass. I love watching him in coverage; he provides a ton of security over the top and has great ball skills and timing that he uses to haul in some huge PBUs and INTs. </em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>I'm just as impressed with his ability to play the urn. He flies downhill to meet the ball carrier near the line of scrimmage almost every snap, making tackles for little to no gain and not allowing anyone to break into the open field."</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Munnerlyn will be an exciting prospect to watch over the next few years. Averett's acceleration is unbelievable. He can ramp up from 0-100 in a moment's notice, burning everyone in the open field for massive plays after the catch. When you combine that with his elusiveness and ability to change his direction, you've got a force out wide.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>Everyone in the state should look out for Averett moving forward. He's quick off the line, can gain great separation of a wide variety of routes, and has a great set of hands he uses to haul in passes all over the field. </em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>I'm seriously impressed with how Jackson can make plays through heavy coverage. It doesn't matter how contested the pass is, Jackson's going to find a way to come down with it. He has a great blend of physicality and speed that he uses to make an impact every time the ball is in his hands. He's quick, has great vision, and can use his speed to turn upfield for some massive gains on the ground. When you pair that with how he makes defenders miss with his cuts, spins, and ability to change his direction, it makes him a threat every snap.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>On top of that, he has the strength and power to straight-up bully defenders. You can watch him run over guys and take on multiple tacklers before he goes down. He's a hard player to stop.
