Here are five players that I believe are rising stars in the class.

Wonsley is one of my favorite players in the 2028 class as a whole. There is a lot to like about what he brings to the table, and there are many different traits that he is already ahead of his class on. He is a ball hawk, which is something you don't see as much from the 2028 class, but the coverage and understanding of the game catches my eye the most. He can be a bit aggressive at times, but if I were a defensive coordinator, I would be a happy man with the production he has had. He has been able to bait some good QBs into throwing something that would make you scratch your head if you are a QB coach. Wonsley is a guy that plays for the football, but has enough understanding to swat it if needed.

[player_tooltip player_id='1091397' first='Jazz' last='Lewis'] is the son of former NFL star Jamal Lewis, which is a start. Unlike his Dad, who played running back, he plays wide receiver; however, you can see that he has the vision of a running back. One of the more dangerous players in the class with the ball in his hands at the position. He is one of the better screen threat receivers you will find, but his + route running for his age allows him to use a full route tree. He has been able to pump the brakes faster than most in his class, which allows him to have great sit-down routes. I am a fan of what he brings to his team, and he has a good QB throwing him the ball. He will be one to watch, as If he continues to fill out with his size and improves as expected, he will be a dangerous prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='1208513' first='Brayden' last='Bailey'] is the son of Champ Bailey, and you can tell in his coverage. What is also worth mentioning is the fact that he is one of the better wide receivers, too. He is very quick and elusive, but has been one of the better players when it comes to being on the defensive side. He could be viewed as a two-way player, but that remains unseen. He has already received an offer from Coach Prime in Colorado, but you have to imagine more will come, especially now that he is getting better each week. Bailey has the chance to be one of the better players in this class, as there aren't many you could put over him. His size isn't the greatest, but he will grow with time. Even now, his size hasn't been much of an issue.

Baig hasn't received the complete reps that he will be getting next year, but in his time during the games, it has become visible that he is one of the better players at the position when it comes to running the football. He has also completely improved his pass game. Baig is someone who has fixed the majority of his release problems that caught the eye of some evaluators, but his size and ability to extend plays make him extremely dangerous. This Norcross team will be in great shape under his decision-making.

This gunslinger is becoming one of the better young guys in the state of Georgia. He has been one of the more productive players in the state and is one of the younger QBs in his area. He plays for a well-coached Westlake team that relied heavily on the weapons that they had last season like Travis Smith. Now they are able to focus on their QB and the weapons as a whole around him. He is one of the better players when it comes to his deep ball, and he is also someone that has good size to him. He could absolutely be something if he continues at this rate.
