Centreville vs Westfield:

I will be at this contest tonight pitting two of the top teams in the Region. Centreville has arguably the most explosive offense in Virginia averaging over 44 points per contest! [player_tooltip player_id='1298696' first='Will' last='Shields'] is in the running for Offensive player of the year while receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1298258' first='Jourdan' last='Simpson'] is pushing for the 1,000 yard mark. Kardin Stover is also a bull at running back for the Wildcats whose one blemish came all the way back in week 1 in a overtime defeat against Forest Park. Westfield has driven their fanbase stress levels through the roof each week, they are two plays away from being undefeated right now. [player_tooltip player_id='1297938' first='Ryan' last='Carlson'] has been humming under center again for the Bulldogs while [player_tooltip player_id='1566389' first='Malachi' last='Lee'], PJ Sutherland and Jason Lartey have become stars. Do not sleep on Westfield's defense either, only two teams so far have scored more than 20 points against them.

Brentsville vs Skyline:

Since beginning the year with three straight losses the Skyline Hawks have been on fire ripping off 4 straight wins. Their playoff spot is looking good and the way their offense has picked things up I would not want to face them in the quarterfinals. Dashawn Hayley is looking more and more comfortable under center with go to target Marquese Lockhart putting in a stellar senior campaign. [player_tooltip player_id='1337962' first='Zayden' last='Burks'] has been one of the best backs in the state, Brentsville defense will be keying on him for sure. The Tigers have gone through a bit of a transition under a new coaching staff, but they picked up a nice win over Meridian last week. This game has major playoff implications, I would expect a high scoring affair.

Lake Braddock vs South County:

This game will get heated as both squads have been amongst the top in Class 6 for the past decade. Lake Braddock was able to get by last year in a close matchup and South County will look to repay the favor tonight. The Stallions have really turned it on offensively with [player_tooltip player_id='1954248' first='Dylan' last='Miller'] at quarterback, the junior has been on point this fall. [player_tooltip player_id='1297724' first='Trevion' last='Campbell'] is playing at all state level and Jonah Hardesty, [player_tooltip player_id='1346429' first='Caleb' last='Hairston'] and many more will look to be a factor in Lorton as well. The Bruins only blemish this year comes by way of forfeit week 1 in a game where they played an ineligible player. Technically they have 1 loss but that didnt stop me from ranking them 2nd in Class 6. Norfolk State commit [player_tooltip player_id='1297748' first='Tyrone' last='Jackson'] has been awesome with [player_tooltip player_id='1236900' first='Khaleed' last='Cash'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1297865' first='Zachary' last='Hibner'] being his favorite targets.

Hayfield vs Falls Church:

Break up the Falls Church Jaguars who at 6-1 are in prime position to have their first playoff appearance since the 2019 season. Quarterback Elijah Lewis has been one of the breakout stars, the junior prospect has torched the entire conference thus far. [player_tooltip player_id='1692645' first='Pablo' last='Marcia'] is a pit bull of a running back and do not sleep on [player_tooltip player_id='1692697' first='Benjamin' last='Vanterve'] on defense, the young man averages over 10 tackles per game. The Hayfield Hawks have been going through a transition with a late hire on their coaching staff and they picked up an impressive win over Annandale last Friday 24-0.
