Fall IDs: Notes on 5 2027/2028 AL LOS Prospects

Developing point of attack play strength, but he is a smooth athlete with range. Makes plays both around the LOS and in the open field as a tackler. Uses his length to engulf ball carriers and bring them down. You have to be intrigued by the size, basketball background, and closing speed. Shoots gaps well for his body type. Navigates chaos well to the football. Does a good job of shedding blockers. Has enough play strength at the point of attack to create push off the line. Backtracks to the ball if he misses the mark initially. Holds that weight while still being a raw mover and thin-limbed, so he has some natural physical progression ahead of him, and plenty of upside. Plays guard and is hard to run around. Light on his feet, battles at the point of attack. Holds Alabama St offer. Plays TE, but size will knock him to LT long term. A little bit more of a projection here, but playing TE at his size indicates he has the ideal athletic traits to stick at LT. Finishes blocks violently and is capable of misplacing defenders. Plays LT and has the size and length to project there, although his playstyle might be best on the inside or at the other tackle spot. He is really physical, violently slamming defenders through the dirt and ripping them out of running lanes. Massively underrated with no offers.
