Cole Schley Among 8 Man League Level 2 Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 8 Man League in WI is a week ahead of the 11 Man League here in WI. They just wrapped up Level 2 of their playoffs. 8 teams remain in the hunt on the road to Wisconsin Rapids, the home of the 8 Man State Championship Game. This level of competition brings out a ton of two way athletes because of roster sizes, and it also brings out some elite numbers. Turn on the tape and you see so many carries end with him punishing a defender, breaking a tackle, and pushing the pile downfield. The senior did a great job of finding blocks and the gaps to attack so that he didn't have to take any contact until he was into the second level of the defense. The defensive clips we saw on tape also show his physical play as he set a stout edge. The two way performance from the senior helped secure a win and keep their season alive. However, that doesn't take away from the elite season he put together. Braylon currently sits at 3rd in rushing yards among the 11 and 8 man players in WI with 2,068 rushing yards. Braylon is a man among boys on the field, dwarfing most of other players with his 215 lbs frame. Watch the junior highlights and you see that if you don't gang tackle Braylon early in the play he is a nightmare to bring down. Between his power and his contact balance it takes most of the defense to swarm and bring him down when he gets that head of steam. Braylon will be back in 2026 and one of the top names to know in the 8 man league. Mason is one of the best football players in WI. The senior has an elite frame that has him looking the part of a high level college football player. Then you turn on the tape and the confidence rises even more that he could play at one of the higher levels. The 280 lbs OL springs off the line so athletically and delivers devastating power when he lands that initial punch on DL and LBs. Mason has that dancing. bear ability that you love to see in a lineman. Nimble and powerful. Rangy and punishing. Athletic and violent. That is clear after watching his Level 2 highlights. The senior was running free in the secondary all night. Even more tough, Boone was able to show off how elusive he was after the catch. He could make DBs miss and create space and gain extra yards compared to what originally looked available. DL looks like his future home. He is growing a serious frame that is loaded with explosive athleticism. Not only to shoot gaps, but also to get out in space and show off outstanding speed to chase down the ball. Coaches should love the violence he brings to his hand fighting too. The junior is strong, athletic, explosive, and still has an offseason of development ahead of him. When he can fire out of his stance the 300 lbs OL can drive DL off the ball and reset the line of scrimmage downfield. When Cooper can get his hands on the big man instantly gains control of his opponent. As I worked through the film we also see that he can pull across and also wash DL down the line of scrimmage.
