You don’t expect to see a 250 lbs athlete pulling away in the open field, but Cain does it. The massive athlete also carries the ball with the power and tackle breaking acumen you would expect from a kid who towers over most defenders. That power looks so natural on the edge too as he quickly can get into the backfield, shed blocks, and make the tackle. Cain is proving to be a viable Swiss Army knife with a lot of potential when you try and project what he could be.

The season has come to an end for Cain and Clayton, but the junior OL/DL is a legitimate talent to know in the Class of 2027. DL looks like his future home. He is growing a serious frame that is loaded with explosive athleticism. Not only to shoot gaps, but also to get out in space and show off outstanding speed to chase down the ball. Coaches should love the violence he brings to his hand fighting too. The junior is strong, athletic, explosive, and still has an offseason of development ahead of him.
