Great players come from great teams, and it's no coincidence that this future Gophers O-lineman paved the way for Rocori's 7-1 regular season record. After a foot injury kept him out most of last season, Trout played all of 2025 and regained his form very quickly. Trout uses the most of his size and athleticism, proving very quick and nimble moving around the line, making him dangerous as a pull blocker, and his flexibility and technique have continued to grow stronger even after the injury. With his destination at the next level already set, Trout's goal right now will be to guide Rocori to a state championship this season.

Another two-way trench man, [player_tooltip player_id='1648453' first='Wyatt' last='Henderson'] might be better suited as a DT, but his power and prowess on the line makes him equally suitable as a Guard. Henderson has the burst and footwork to be a pull blocker, easily able to pick up moving targets down the field to open up a big lane for the RB. A ferocious player who loves contact, Henderson is a lineman who plays with grit and tenacity in 1-on-1 situations, and he possesses the second gear to drive through defenders and excel on his block as well as filling his gap on defense. Henderson is one of the toughest players on the trenches in the state, and his stock should continue to surge heading into his senior season.

Alex Reid has a massive presence on the trenches for the Pioneers, guiding them to a top seed in their section this season. Starting at Center, Reid is a physically overwhelming presence against other DTs in this conference, and he gets a strong grip on defenders when he gets his hands on them, allowing him to jam defenders in slide protection and twist them to the ground. Reid shows solid footwork, keeping his balance even when being pushed back, and showing good bend in his extension. While Reid could get lower on his stance to avoid getting knocked over by stronger defensive linemen, his size and solid technique has played a big role for another strong regular season for the Pioneers and certainly warrants taking a look at in the collegiate level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1580757' first='Mason' last='Edwards'] has continued to grind it out on the trenches, guiding Byron to over 200 yards of rushing per game and an undefeated regular season record as they are poised as favorites to win the Class 4A title. Playing at Left Guard, Edwards plays a physical, yet coordinated style of play, showing good balance and flexibility, being able to change direction and recover off missteps quickly, while also using this flexibility to gain leverage and keep defenders outside the pocket. Edwards consistently plays through the whistle, plowing defenders through the dirt, making him an intimidating menace on the line. Edwards will look to cap off a strong run for the Bears with a state championship added to his resume.

Leading the way for one of the most efficient offenses in Class 4A, [player_tooltip player_id='1602733' first='Wes' last='McLean'] was at the forefront of Orono's offense en route to clinching the #1 seed in their section. Playing with a steady base, twitchy movements, and a great utilization of leverage, McLean is a very solid Left Tackle who has the fundamentals to play the role and could certainly fit the mold as a project player at the next level with some added size. Consistently able to drive defenders back in the run and kicking out wide in pass protection, McLean has equal success in both areas, and with that, Orono's offense has had a lot of success in both fields this season. McLean has been a steady presence to watch, and a strong run in this postseason could really fuel his stock upward holding off the best of the best in this conference.

Winona struggled to a 2-6 season, but through that, they unveiled some potential gems going forward, with one of them being Will Littrell, who showed a lot of promise starting at Center. Showing solid knee bend and lower body power, Littrell did a great job driving defenders back by keeping his feet moving while also showing solid hand placement to move defenders away from the interior gaps. Littrell opened up lanes on the ground as well as showing steady protection for the pass, not letting defenders get around him that easily. Winona's offense is fairly young, but they will have opportunities to grow as they find their rhythm, and having Littrell in the middle of that offense could be vital toward that growth.

Right next to Littrell on the O-line is Alex McChesney, starting at Left Guard, who also saw valuable growth on the trenches for Winona this season. McChesney is able to play low and open up to a wide stance off the snap, and while he needs to work on his quickness to prevent faster defenders from getting by him off the snap, McChesney has sound mechanics to build off of. McChesney has the size and strength to jam and twist defenders to the ground, and he was able to hold his own quite a bit in pass protection. McChesney will have time to continue building upon his mechanics to growth at his position, and that growth could parlay toward a turnaround for Winona in 2026.

Nolan Field has continued to grow as a prominent piece of Fergus Falls' offensive line, and he's helped the Otters transition well from 3A to 4A, having already clinched the #1 seed in their section in their first year in 4A. Field plays both sides of the trenches at DE and Left Tackle, and his familiarity playing on the end of the line allows him to excel as a blindside blocker as he knows what to expect from his opposing DEs. Field shows good footwork and a strong punch off the ball, possessing the speed and agility to step out wide and contain the edge. Field has the size, frame, and mechanics to excel at both positions at the next level, making him a bona-fide stud on the trenches.
