Osage's undefeated record was put on the line as they took on the Cadets as Cresco, IA in a heated rivalry matchup. Benefiting on an impressive run-game which compiled 239 yards of rushing and an average of 8.9 yards per carry, the Cadets took a 20-13 lead heading into the 4th quarter. The Green Devils rallied with 14 unanswered points to lead 27-20 with a minute and a half to go. Crestwood managed to engineer a quick drive to score within the final minute, but their two point conversion run was stuffed, allowing Osage to hold on to their undefeated record and escape with a close road win over a tough rival.

Top Performer: [player_tooltip player_id='1241488' first='Quinn' last='Street'] (SR) - Overcoming 2 picks early in the game, Street dialed in during the second half with several huge plays. Street finished the night 11 of 21 for 273 yards and a TD while rushing for 179 yards on 29 carries (6.2 YPC) and 2 rushing TDs.

A largely defensive battle between these two, OABCIG was able to slow down the Pioneers' offense, limiting their run game to a measly 68 yards of total rushing while forcing 2 interceptions. However, while OABCIG was able to generate nearly 200 yards of rushing, they failed to capitalize their opportunities that their defense gave them due to a paltry passing game. Trailing 15-14 in the 4th quarter, Okoboji took the lead on a 29 yard field goal with under 2 and a half minutes to go. OABCIG's final drive ended with a strip sack on 4th down, allowing the Pioneers to keep their undefeated record intact as they held off a near upset.

Top Performer: Avery Simington (SR) - Proving to have a big role on both sides of the ball, Simington led the offense with 93 receiving yards on 6 receptions and a TD while recording 3 tackles and an interception on defense.

An engaging matchup as South Tama County in a must-win affair was forced to exchange blows with a Pella Christian unit who was able to keep up toe-to-toe with the Trojans. The run offenses for the two teams compiled much of the production offensively as the two teams combined for 432 yards of rushing. Ultimately, trailing by 7 in the 4th quarter, the Eagles scored a touchdown with under 5 minutes to go, but decided to attempt the 2-point conversion to go for the lead. The attempt was snuffed, and the Trojans were able to run out the rest of the clock to secure the win. The Trojans remain alive in the playoff race as they enter the last week of the regular season.

Top Performer: Ryan Brant (SO) - Brant had a strong night in steadily keeping the offense moving and accounting for much of the Trojans' scoring, finishing the night 4 of 8 for 67 yards passing and a TD while rushing for 29 yards on 11 carries and 2 rushing TDs. Brant also added 5 tackles (All Solo) on defense.

A top-10 upset in week 7, the Wolfpack won each of their last two matchups over the Braves in close deficits, but the Braves came read to play, and they completely tore apart Western Christian's defense. The Braves relied exclusively on their run game, which compiled a whopping 483 yards of rushing and an average of 10.7 yards per carry. The Braves were able to stay a step ahead of the Wolfpack the entire night, leading 35-21 heading into the 4th quarter before overwhelming the tired unit with 3 more scores in the 4th to put an exclamation point on a huge upset to build their case as an underdog heading into the postseason.

Paulsrud also recorded 6.5 tackles (5 solo) on defense and recorded a 62 yard kick return.
