He had a huge night against state champion American Canyon on Saturday and was all over the place in the Mustangs secondary. He ended the game with two interceptions, including a big time game ceiling pick on a tipped ball on the final play of the contest and tacked on 7 tackles. He flashes elite closing speed, natural bend and explosion off the edge and collapses the pocket quickly while doubling on offensive duties as a running back. He is a true plug that can fill, make plays outside the tackles and displays closing speed when knifing into the backfield and can provide pressure up the middle. A very high IQ player that is always around the ball, he is a multi-tackler guy every week and is going to be a steal for a college program at inside linebacker. He committed to SDSU at the end of June and is a very nice get for the Mountain West as he has a P4 ceiling. A very technically sound player with heavy hands/initial strike that can redirect and win with both speed and power at the POA, he is very athletic for his size with twitch and can play either nose or defensive tackle.
