Expert Analysis
Paul Gregorian | Prep Redzone Scout
Littlejohn has long been one of the top athletes across the bay area on both sides of the ball and is a explosive and twitchy edge rusher that could very well find his home as a OLB/DPR guy at the next level. He is a natural bender around the corner, flashes quick hands when beating bigger tackles and has a variety of different moves in his toolbox. Offensively, he is also a impressive ball carrier with contact balance, runs behind his pads and has a rare combination of size and speed while very fluid with the ball in his hands and has lateral agility/short area quickness in the hole. The Acalanes star should wind up somewhere in the big Sky by the time it’s all said and done and is another no-brainer FCS+ caliber prospect at that OLB/Edge position.

Littlejohn had been one of the top players across the bay area since his breakout sophomore season for Acalanes and recently got his first offer from Montana. He should see a slew of other Big Sky schools finally come in and offer as he has tremendous position versatility and can play anywhere at either the first or second level. He flashes elite closing speed, natural bend and explosion off the edge and collapses the pocket quickly while doubling on offensive duties as a running back. He was all over the field on Friday night rushing for 2 scores and racking up 2TFL’s and 2 sacks through the first two weeks.

Littlejohn is another one of the top two-way players across the Bay Area, and can play anywhere in the box and is a very effective pass rusher that uses his speed, twitch, and a quick use of hands at the point of attack. He’s a balanced edge player against the run as well and is seemingly always around the ball making plays behind the line. He is explosive off the ball and gets a good jump when pass rushing and is a high motor player that consistently makes plays behind the line and explodes through contact when denting pullers or taking on bigger backs. Heading into the 2025 season, he should have a bounce back Senior year and draw plenty of college interest.

Littlejohn is one of the top 2026 prospects across northern California, and has been dominating on both sides of the ball to kick off this year. Operating both from his running back and edge rusher positions, he put together a very nice performance this week rushing for 115 yards and 3 scores while able to consistently provide pressure and collapse the pocket off the edge. He is a no brainer next level player that should start to gather college interest/potential offers as we move closer to the off-season this Winter and spring.

Littlejohn is a sleeper edge prospect out of Acalanes that could pop at any time. At 6’2” 200 lbs. he’s an explosive athlete with good growth potential to add weight to his frame. He flashes excellent initial quickness out of his stance and can beat blockers off the edge with his speed or power at the POA. Possesses quick and active hands to fight off contact and shed blockers before the play develops. Extremely disruptive as a pass rusher being able to get into gaps and collapse the pocket. Athleticism and lateral quickness allows him to redirect and chase to close space on the ball carrier in the run game. He was a key piece to Acalanes state championship run finishing the season with 65 total tackles, eight sacks, and 18 TFL. Skillset could transition to either DE or LB depending on development and is deserves to see a bump in recruiting entering his junior season.

Littlejohn is one of the more explosive defenders across Northern California that no one knows about, and has been flying under the radar this off-season but was a big part in the magical season the Dons had in 2023, leading to a CIF State Title. He lines up both at defensive end and running back, and is a terrific overall athlete that moves exceptionally well for his size and has some freaky athletic abilities. Defensively, he is explosive off the ball, shoots his hands quickly and wins with natural bend, quick hands and good strength at the POA and closes quickly, collapsing the pocket from the outside. Against the run, he shows a quick lockout and disengage, processes blocks quickly and shows redirection skills in the open field and flies around with a high motor. Look for the ’26 prospect to burst onto the scene as a Junior for the Dons and put together another huge season this Fall.
