Despite the loss, I was really impressed with a number of Notre Dame Prep's athletes. From the trenches to the skill positions, they still have plenty of talent. He has the size, athleticism and football IQ to play high level college football. He is a good decision maker, something that he struggled with early in the game, but as he settled in he looked much more comfortable. He still has a big arm and is able to gun it down field. He used his legs a number of times, extending the play or just moving within the pocket. While it wasn't the best game I have seen him play in my number of times seeing him, it was still a good performance. If this is the floor for Sam, I feel very good about his ceiling!

Ben was someone I wasn't too familiar with, but I came away impressed with what he can do as a speed-in-space type player. He made his presence felt early when he was able to score on a screen. He had some breakaway speed and good vision to find the gap his blockers created and get up field. All night I noticed how quick and relentless he was. I would love to see him again at some point this season because I think he opens some things up within the NDP offense with what he presents athletically.

Since his sophomore season, I have seen Brody just be as consistent as can be. He's an athletic but powerful LB/EDGE with great bend. He had a couple of tackles that stopped the RB dead in his tracks and drove him backwards. On passing downs, he pinned his ears back and got into the backfield, eventually coming away with a sack when he just overpowered and outmaneuvered an offensive tackle. The Miami OH commit was all over defensively, as well as offensively at the TE position. No matter the score, Brody was all in and doing his part. Sink is a massive weapon with the skillset to thrive at the next level.

Really productive day for Anthony! Both offensively and defensively it seemed like he was everywhere, but I really came away loving his potential at the FB/RB position. He had a nice catch and run, eventually running over a defender in the process. He has good vision but absolutely didn't shy away from any sort of contact. Defensively, he ended with 6.5 tackles and a handful of other plays that he helped make for his teammates. He's a strong and physical athlete who can thrive in a variety of roles. I will absolutely have my eye on him for the rest of the season.

This is a really underrated WR that I was really impressed with. He finished with 7 catches for 86 yards and a TD despite being heavily covered all night. He has good size, flashed good hands and the ability to run clean and consistent routes. He went up and high pointed the ball and came down with secure catches. No drops, no inconsistent route running. I wasn't familiar with just how good he was, but he made a solid statement in this one. Can't wait to see what he does the rest of 2025.
