Grand Blanc vs. Davison has been a phenomenal rivalry as of late. Two programs that seem to always have top-end talent, and two programs that are always in the state championship conversation. Today, we're taking a look at five more prospects from these teams who could play a large role on the 2026 Varsity squad.

Kingston proved to be a pretty dang productive TE at the JV level. For one, he's a legitimately productive receiver. 0:26 is a nice showcase of what Kingston is able to accomplish with defenders closing in- excellent spatial awareness and ability to fend off poor tackle attempts. 2:07 is another really nice play- snagging an overthrown ball on the crossing route, and earning a ton of RAC.

I rarely see TEs look so polished before Varisty. I really like how Kingston was utilized as a receiver, and I hope to see him with similar production at the Varsity level.

Last season, Ethan had some success against top-end competition. I liek how Ethan always keeps himself in the play. At 0:40, Ethan does a nice job working upfield, shedding the RB's block, and earning a pressure and hit on the QB. Similarly, 0:45 showcases another free rush, RB fails to pick him up, and Ethan earns another QB hit. In the run game, Ethan has a few moments like 1:05 where he's able to anchor down and plug a gap. No complaints in terms of effort. One great offseason could propel Ethan to a great 2026 Varsity season, and I hope to see major improvements in a few months time.

Anquan had a handful of promising moments as an off-ball outside linebacker. Generally, he's able to read the field and make tackles, but he's a tad too late to react. The first minute of his tape is full of decent tackles, but almost every one of those plays could have been TFLs if Anquan played quicker. 2:28 showcases Anquan's skillset pretty well. I really like his initial read, and he does a great job getting outside to his spot. Though, he could have been a tad more aggressive when engaging with the WR, and could have cut inside for the tackle a second earlier.

One of the most impressive tapes from his league, William looks like an extremely confident and physical football player. At 0:10, William does a phenomenal job recognizing the stunt, and absolutely punishing the DT trying to squeeze through the middle of the line. Moving on to 0:18, William pulls extremely quickly, and pops the DE, completely eliminating him from the play. Additionally, William has a handful of good highlights at DT. I could go on and on. Love the physicality, and I hope to see another jump in production from William.

Owen's tape is on the shorter side of things, yet it's still quality. His first and second highlights showcase a great 1-handed grab down the middle of the field as a safety closes in. At 0:33, we see a solid read and tackle from his off-ball OLB position. The rest of his tape showcases special teams highlights, demonstrating good physicality.

All-around a good highlight tape from the Varsity level. I really like Owen's size, and he looks like a fluid athlete. He could be a big-time breakout player this coming fall.
