Eves has been a force to open the season, proving to be one of the most disruptive linebackers in the state. With 29 total tackles, 5 tackles for loss and 4 sacks, he has consistently lived in opponents' backfields. His vision and ability to diagnose plays quickly allows him to make an impact from sideline to sideline. He is able to shed blocks or can wrap up the ball carrier, Eves has the skill set to change the momentum of a game. His production is setting the tone for his defense, and he looks poised to climb as one of the top on the rise pass rushers.     Bustillos has been unstoppable off the edge, making a name for himself as one of the most explosive pass rushers in the early season. His 7 sacks and 8 tackles for loss highlight just how disruptive he has been, along with 24 total tackles that show his consistency as a defender. With a quick first step and the ability to disengage blockers, Bustillos has made life difficult for opposing quarterbacks. He brings relentless energy on every snap and is quickly turning heads. If he maintains this pace, expect his stock to rise among recruiters and scouts across the state.     Brewster is in the midst of a breakout junior campaign, making a big impact in southern Colorado. With 13 total tackles, 6 tackles for loss and 6 sacks, he has firmly established himself as one of the most dangerous defenders in 4A. Brewster has an explosive get-off at the snap, and his versatility allows him to drop into coverage when needed. His progression has been impressive, and he is starting to earn the attention of college recruiters. If he continues this level of production, Brewster will quickly cement himself as one of the premier pass rushers to watch.     Martin has been a two-way standout, but his defensive dominance deserves the spotlight. With 25 total tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 6 sacks and 3 fumble recoveries, he has been a nightmare for opposing offenses. His ability to shed blocks and deliver punishing hits in the backfield separates him from many at his position. Martin's motor and physicality allow him to constantly be around the ball, creating turnovers and momentum swings. His strong start to the season has him firmly on the rise and if he continues at this level, expect him to gain traction in the rankings.     Small school standout Toliver is proving he belongs in the conversation with some of the state's top defenders. With 17 total tackles, 6 tackles for loss and 5 sacks, he has quickly made a name for himself early in the season. His strength and quickness give him the ability to collapse the line of scrimmage and disrupt plays before they develop. Though he is playing at the 1A level, Toliver's production is catching attention and could open the door for D2 or D3 opportunities down the road. He is a prospect on the rise who is becoming a key defensive difference maker for this team.
