Houston offenses are heating up as schools begin to shift into district play, and senior QBs have accounted for a good bit of the highlights. While this group may at first glance look like a season preview of the top dogs, let's check out which seniors had the best game at the helm in Week 2.

Surprise, surprise, the best player in the state balled out yet again this week. Henderson put together one of the best stat lines in recent memory on Friday night, compiling over 650 total yards and 6 total touchdowns. Going 30-38 through the air and rushing for 166 on just 6 carries, QB1 was basically perfect. The Houston Cougars cannot wait for Henderson to arrive on campus.

Another familiar face, Maryland continues to prove to be, as I believe it, one of the more underrated QBs in the country. The Mustangs' signal caller has been on fire to start the season and led them to a big bounce-back win last week. Displaying his great touch on deep balls, poise in the pocket, and ability to create with his legs, Kaleb compiled 278 total yards and 4 TDs in just 3 quarters. The Utah State commit has a fluid but dynamic style to his play and will continue to lead North Shore to title hopes in his last go-around.

Daulton also served the role of a dual-threat game-changer in Week Two, accounting for over 230 yards and 3 TDs through the air, along with an additional 123 on the ground. His college-level arm strength dominated the Deer Park secondary, and his combination of length and athleticism allowed him to torch them outside the pocket. Jack showcased both his usual exceptional accuracy on deep balls over the middle of the field, along with some startling elusiveness for a tall QB. The TCU commit is off to a great start.

Another large-framed gunslinger that kept his feet moving in Week Two, Smith dissected a good Waller defense all night on all levels of the field. Totaling over 240 yards and 4 touchdowns, Grant was in control in and out of the pocket. Smith especially excelled at scrambling out of the pocket, changing arm angles, and delivering strikes downfield while on the move. The Grizzlies couldn't have asked for much more out of their leader on offense and will lean on him down the stretch.

Talk about a signal-caller whose timing and progressions were on all night, Barker led his Knights to a big-time win over George Ranch in Week Two. During the polished QB's first start since transferring over, the mental clock and intentionality of throws on all levels were impressive. While his exact stat line is not advertised, Barker no doubt threw for a couple of hundred yards and 2 touchdown passes at an extremely efficient level. Expect the Tulsa commit to continue turning heads throughout his senior campaign.

After running for nearly 100 yards but only throwing for less than 150 in Nimitz's first contest, Brown reminded us that he can sit back or roll out and deliver passes at all levels as well. In Week Two, AJ threw for over 200 yards and 3 TD passes on just 15 attempts. He took what the defense gave to him and saved his legs for when the Cougars will most definitely need them down the road. Expect his recruitment process to heat up throughout his senior year.
