Offensive Frenzy: Explosive Production From Week 6

Stats: 16/21, 248 Pass Yards, 5 TDs, 19 Carries, 99 Yards, 1 TD   What a performance from the QB out of Marathon! Accurate from the pocket and on the move. The senior went after every level of the field, making quick decisions. True is able to get the ball out fast very fast, giving the defense little time to get pressure on him. True has definitely made strides as a passer from his 2024 season, but the consistent strength of his game is his athleticism at 6'1" 190 lbs. Whether designed or not, True is able to work his way through the trenches with nimble feet eluding DL and LBs. He flashes the speed to get the edge, and easily is able to get away from pressure while still looking to pass. Give the small school standout a look.      Stats: 23 Carries, 232 Yards, 2 TDs, 24 receiving Yards, 1 TD   This Grantsburg offense is so lethal. We could have gone with a few other athletes from the unit, but the most impressive numbers came from junior RB/LB [player_tooltip player_id='1715901' first='Daxter' last='Schultz']. The 190 lbs junior has no qualms with handling a massive workload. A workload that keeps their explosive offense balanced. Daxter not only balances the numbers, but also wears down the defense with his physical running style while the pass game wears out teams with speed. The '27 is a one-cut, get up the field and creates yards after contact type of RB. Schultz can hit that second gear once he breaks loose too. Check him out!      Stats: 7 Receptions, 130 Yards, 2 TDs   I have had my eyes on Sam throughout this season. He has been consistently putting up strong numbers, so when I saw he had tape and great numbers from their big matchup against West De Pere I had dive in. The senior WR did really well with his release off the line. Quick feet, active hands, and a burst of speed to quickly open up separation flashed over and over on the quick highlight tape. Even when he had a cushion we saw that ability to get around a DB when he closed the cushion. If the defense didn't get their hands on him it was easy for the senior to run through crisp route breaks and give his QB easy, open targets. Sam has turned his athleticism into a key tool to win at nuanced parts of the WR position. Don't miss on this senior steal.      Stats: 23 Carries, 158 Yards, 3 TDs   Mayville is at its best when they have a back they can lean on and feature on a week to week basis. This year they have senior RB Landen Baker toting the rock 20+ times a game while putting up great numbers. In a big matchup against St. Mary's Springs, Landen completely took over. From his FB role, Landen gashed the defense. Slicing through the interior and quickly getting to level two. Landen is undersized for the FB role in this offense, but he has found ways to thrive. Instead of wearing down a team with physical running, he forces them to be gap responsible and quick to fill or he will slip right past them with his speed. That speed also allows him to attack off tackle and get out in space. The Mayville offense is humming and Landen is a big reason why.      Stats: 8/16, 172 Yards, 2 TDs, 54 Rush Yards, 2 TDs   What a game for the rapidly rising junior QB as he and his offense poured on the points in Week 6. Jamison dominated with his arm and his legs Friday night. Starting with the big arm, it was great to see both of his TDs come from throws that relied more on touch than just ripping the ball into a spot. He showed touch and accuracy. We also saw him deliver accurately on the run, as well as get a pass off from an awkward angle and off platform. It was also a great night of showing off his dual threat abilities. The big man can power his way to short yardage success, or he also showed that he can get out in space and elude defenders with quick feet and agility. The tools are coming together really well for the impressive 2027 QB.      Stats: 7 Receptions, 250 Yards, 3 TDs   [player_tooltip player_id='1620377' first='Ben' last='Morey'] of Edgewood has been on an absolute tear this season! Week 6 may have been his best effort yet. The junior averaged almost 36 yds/rec in a dominant display of talent. The best part is that the junior dominated while attacking every level. He took bubble screens for 6, got behind the defense for long chunk plays. The junior also flashed the speed, taking a quick slant for 6. If you let this kid get a clean release, or an alley cleared out from screen blockers, Ben is going to make the defense pay with his game breaking speed. Defenses are going to have to make sure they have help over the top wherever he lines up. He is a serious mismatch out wide.      Stats: 25 Carries, 178 Yards, 3 TDs   I'm liking what I see from the 5'10" 205 lbs junior RB. He is mostly a north-south runner, but the junior has the vision and instincts to see holes to cut through or blocks to run off of. Kamaria has some elusiveness to his game too, making LBs miss at the second level. The big man also has a low center of gravity that allows him to finish runs or break through arm tackles. Kamaria is an athlete I will be keeping an eye on. The size is there, physical tools are there, and the production is piling up too now.     Stats: 29/48, 339 Pass Yards, 6 Pass TDs   What a night for the junior QB out of McFarland during their win! Garrett was surgical, picking apart the defense with accuracy, smart ball placement, and excellent touch. Garrett has a long, lean frame but he is still able to quickly get the ball out and doesn't need to have his feet set to still be accurate. The lefty was super quick with his decision making too, hitting that back foot and getting the ball out instantly. The junior forced the defense to try and cover the entire field because he did a great job of attacking every level. This was a great showing for the junior QB. He is definitely developing as a passer from where he was a year ago.      Stats: 20 Carries, 316 Yards, 6 TDs   Kobe is putting together an unreal senior season in Slinger! In Week 6 the extremely explosive RB averaged over 15 yds/att while carrying the ball 20 times! Unbelievable production and efficiency, but honestly those numbers match how explosive, athletic, and elusive the playmaker is. The film proves that if you give this kid an inch he is going to take it 70+ because he can hit the hole so fast and get to top speed so fast. Speed that won't be chased down in the open field. You can only play as fast as Kobe when you have vision to see the field and react as fast as he does too. It seems like everything the senior does is at 100 mph. Kobe plays at a different speed than the rest of the field on Friday nights and is proving that he will be a difference maker at the next level.      Stats: 4 Carries, 90 Yards, 3 TDs, 37 Receiving Yards, 1 TD   Chris is such a fun athlete to watch on offense. He has outstanding elusive running in space. Whether it be running, receiving, or returning punts, Chris seems to always have an instant plan on how to create space from defenders or set them up so he can use those college level athletic tools to beat them. The junior is getting more and more versatile too, making an impact in all three phases of the game and making plays in the run game and pass game on offense. Chris has that innate playmaking ability where when he gets the ball he somehow is always able to create fireworks. That was apparent last week as he turned a few touches into 4 scores. Chris should be someone that everyone at least takes a look at when it comes to the WI Class of 2027.      Stats: 11 Receptions, 155 Yards   The junior WR saw a ton of action Friday night in a big rivalry win. The agile athlete was able to create yards after the catch thanks to not only his acceleration and speed, but also his decisive running. The junior gets upfield right away after the catch, and uses his vision to know when to set things up instead of just gaining what's there or trying to beat angles. Richard also has impressive ball skills. Early in his tape you see a great twisting catch deep down the sideline. We also see him do a great job of adjusting to the ball in flight and going up and getting it at the high point. Richie is new to my radar, and I'm excited to see how he continues to shine in this effective passing attack.
