Simmons caught 11 passes for 133 yards and 3 TDs in Bishop Manogue's 28-23 loss to Rocklin (CA) on Friday. The Miners' senior wideout is quietly putting together a breakout season with 7 TDs through three games and is quickly becoming one of the favorite targets of senior QB [player_tooltip player_id='281928' first='Brandon' last='Mann']. Simmons is a player on the rise early into 2025.

Wilson completed 17/28 passes for 262 yards and 3 TDs in Reno's 35-20 victory over Foothill (CA). He also added a rushing TD in the win. The state's #4 senior QB showed impressive management of the pocket and made some nice throws on the move in his first action of the season. Wilson is one of the most talented passers in Nevada and is looking even more developed in his senior season.

Buddy caught 3 passes for 80 yards and 2 TDs in Spanish Springs' 42-13 win over Clayton Valley (CA). The 6'3"/180 junior showed his ability to create mismatches on the perimeter with the length and athleticism he brings to the table. Spanish Springs is off to a hot start with back to back victories over California teams.

Kraintz accounted for 4 TDs (2 pass, 2 rush) in Elko's 26-15 win over Fernley on Friday. The senior QB showed his ability to get the ball out on time and make plays outside the pocket with his arm. Kraintz and the Elko Indians have taken down two of northern Nevada's top programs to start the 2025 season.
