Alvarado carried 37 times for 200 yards and a TD in Carson’s win over Douglas on Friday. Carson’s two-way standout has broken out as on offensive playmaker this season after putting his name on the radar as a LB as a junior. Alvarado’s a tough, physical athlete on both sides of the ball- he’s totaled 941 yards and 6 TDs this season.

Alvarado put together a strong junior season at OLB totaling 61 tackles, 3 TFLs, and 2 INTs for Carson. He’s an athletic front-seven defender that can play in space around the flats and closes on the ball with speed and lateral quickness. Looks comfortable in coverage out wide and can set a strong edge as a run defender. Alvarado’s one of several junior defenders to keep an eye on for Carson next season.
