Week 4 across Ohio brought fireworks in every corner of the state. From special teams magic to quarterbacks rewriting record books, seniors in the Class of 2026 and juniors in the Class of 2027 are showing why Ohio football is always loaded with talent. Here are six who separated themselves under the Friday night lights.

Bradey Triplett | K | St. Marys Memorial | 2026
Triplett did something most high school fans have never seen before by drilling a 49-yard free-kick field goal. A standout on the Roughriders' soccer team, his smooth technique and power translate perfectly to football. His ability to flip games on special teams makes him a unique college prospect, and consistency from that range will only boost his value.

Joe Caudill | QB | Lexington | 2026
Caudill's stat line looks like a typo: 5-for-5 passing, all five completions going for touchdowns. Add a rushing score and a safety on defense, and he accounted for points in every possible way. What stands out is his command: he doesn't force plays, instead letting the game come to him. At 6'2” with a sturdy build, Caudill profiles as a true dual-threat with a high football IQ.

Bently Rannigan | RB | Lucas | 2027
Rannigan's night was short but explosive: two carries, 112 yards, two touchdowns. His first-step burst jumps off the film, and when he hits the open field, defenders don't stand a chance. For a junior, his straight-line speed is elite, but what scouts will note is his ability to accelerate through the hole without hesitation. Lucas has a home run hitter every time he touches the rock.

Colton Adkins | QB/DB | Madison | 2026
Adkins might be the definition of a complete football player. He threw for a score, ran for two more, and then sealed the game with a pick-six on defense. He shows toughness in short-yardage situations and awareness in coverage. Coaches will love his competitive edge, as he thrives in fourth-quarter moments and isn't afraid to shoulder the load for his team.

Liam Kuhn | QB | Crestview | 2027
Kuhn threw for nearly 200 yards and a touchdown, adding a rushing score on top. He processes defenses well, using play-action to open windows for his receivers. What separates him is his balance — calm under duress, accurate on the move, and willing to make plays with his legs. For a junior, his composure bodes well as his body and arm continue to mature.

Dylan Fantone | QB | Twinsburg | 2027
Fantone lit up Stow-Munroe Falls with a school-record six touchdown passes and 300 yards through the air. His timing with receivers is advanced for his age, and he doesn't hesitate to attack coverage weaknesses. He's shown steady growth in decision-making, and his willingness to push the ball vertically makes Twinsburg's offense explosive. A junior who already looks like a seasoned starter.
