The first three weeks of the season have passed, and we'll be highlighting prospects who have produced highlight tapes for their first few games. Colleges will evaluate prospect film from the first three games of the season to assess their progress from last year and the off-season, as they update their recruiting boards. Here are some EDGE/DL prospects to check out from the first four weeks of the season with film!

2026 Spring Mills DL [player_tooltip player_id='1138543' first='Abelardo' last='Meza'] has been a consistent player for the Cardinals since he was an underclassman and has continued that into the first four weeks of his senior year. He's still underrated as a prospect and is deserving of more attention from the next level, but if Meza keeps producing each each, the future offers will come. He has D2 potential in our eyes, with tape that backs that claim up. Meza is an explosive interior defensive lineman who can split blocks and get into the backfield consistently.

2026 Oak Glen DL [player_tooltip player_id='1580725' first='Kameron' last='Hebrock'] is having a big stock rising season for the Golden Bears as a senior and will see his name shoot up the rankings after the season. Hebrock has 8 TFLs and 5 sacks through the first four games, and has been just as dominant on offense as well. He's a definite D2-level talent now that we're getting extended film of Hebrock this season with his size, explosiveness, and power as an athlete. Hebrock has a high ceiling as a college player and is likely to continue producing at the next level.

A new name to our radar this season is 2026 Washington DL [player_tooltip player_id='1690459' first='Brandtley' last='Lawson'], who is having a strong start to his senior year. He's someone that small colleges should be targeting this recruiting cycle as an interior defensive line prospect. Lawson has quality size that he can keep adding to at the next level, and is producing on the field as a senior. He's a physical player who will get off blocks and chase down ball carriers with high effort. Lawson will be a great value add for a D3 or NAIA program if he gets his name out there.

[player_tooltip player_id='1272161' first='Jeremiah' last='Lyles'] is having a good start to his junior year for Huntington and has built off his quality sophomore campaign. He's a difficult block for centers and guards as an athletic interior defensive lineman who plays with good leverage and pad level. Lyles can dip under his man consistently, making it hard for offensive linemen to stay in front and get their hands in good position on him. As Lyles continues to keep getting bigger and stronger, he'll develop into a well-rounded interior prospect with the natural athletic traits he possesses.

A young 2028 defensive lineman who is having a good start to his sophomore year on both sides of the ball is Riverside's [player_tooltip player_id='1310969' first='Paul' last='Cochran']. He's a standout two-way player for the Warriors and can line up at every position along the defensive line for Riverside. What he lacks in stature, Cochran makes up for in tenacity and technique as a player who gives full effort every play and knows how to get off blocks consistently as an undersized player. He's explosive off the ball with very good quickness, while also being strong and powerful for a young player of his stature.
