Aiman dominated Pike Central on both sides of the ball. He rushed for 105 yards and 3 TDs on offense, but it was defense that I wanted to highlight. He was all over the field and could not be stopped. He had 12 tackles, 7.5 TFLs, 4.5 sacks, a forced fumble, and deflected a pass. I loved how dominant he was from start to finish.

Asher put together one of the best games of the year out of anyone. He was playing like his hair was on fire. He was sideline to sideline and didn't hesitate to fly to the ball. His 12 tackles led the game. He then had 6 TFLs, 5 sacks, and deflected a pass. Asher impressed on Friday and could be someone who rises as the season ends.

Getts has been one of the most consistent pass rushers in the state all year. He's had a sack in every game, and Friday was no different. His 10 tackles, 2 TFLs, 2 sacks, 1 fumble recovery, and blocked punt led the way. I like his motor and his consistency at getting behind the line. It's a skill, and Getts has it.

Dykstra is versatile and has good range. He can cover sideline to sideline and cover just about anyone. His instincts are good, and he doesn't make simple mistakes. He had 10 total tackles on Friday, 2 TFLs, an interception that he returned for 33 yards, and forced a fumble. I liked what I saw and what he brings to the table.

Edwards has been a tackling machine since he entered high school, and Friday was no different. They may have fallen short, but Edwards did everything he could. His 12 tackles led the game. He then added 2 TFLs, 1 sack, forced a fumble, and then recovered it. I like his consistency and how he's the same player game after game.
