Early Season Offensive Standouts

We are starting to gather tape and stats from the early part of the season.  Here is a look at some of the Early Season Offensive Standouts!   QB [player_tooltip player_id='1598818' first='Michael' last='Vander Luitgaren'] (Batavia – 2027)   The Batavia star junior quarterback has helped lead Batavia to a 2-1 early season record throwing for 591 yards (41/66 passing) with a 7-1 TD to INT ratio.   QB [player_tooltip player_id='1001161' first='Dane' last='Eisenmenger'] (Tolono Unity – 2026)   The central Illinois 6'4” QB has good size and pocket presence.  Pushes the ball down field getting it vertical to his pass catchers.  Clean mechanics with sound footwork.  Capable scrambler when the play breaks down.    QB Von Konrad (Whitney Young – 2026)   The Dolphins senior signal caller has led his team to a 3-0 record so far while throwing for 510 yards and 10 touchdowns.   QB [player_tooltip player_id='809712' first='Luke' last='Dickey'] (Niles Notre Dame – 2026)   The 5'11” senior signal caller is effective hitting his back foot and pushing the ball downfield.  Likes to throw it deep over the middle.  Capable runner that is threat keeping it.   RB Carter Naranjo (West Chicago – 2026)   The senior running back has posted big numbers through the first three weeks going for 605 yards and 12 touchdowns on 57 carries.   RB Trey Seifrid (Aurora Central Catholic – 2026)   The ACC back has recorded 5 rushing scores through the first three weeks of the season along with a strip fumble for a touchdown on defense.   RB Donato Gatses (Glenbard North – 2026)   Gatses has been doing work on the ground in the early season as through three weeks he has 523 yards and 7 touchdowns on 50 carries.   WR Owen Cook (Barrington – 2026)   The Barrington 6'0” senior wide receiver has 236 yards on 10 catches and 3 touchdowns through the first three games of the season.   WR [player_tooltip player_id='1262328' first='Nick' last='Miro'] (Niles Notre Dame – 2027)   Miro is a 6'1” pass catcher in the junior class that has recorded 129 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 7 catches through the early part of the season.   WR [player_tooltip player_id='503550' first='Teddy' last='Manikas'] (Oswego – 2026)   Big start to the season for the Oswego wide receiver who has 281 receiving yards on 16 catches.  Overall 401 all purpose yards and 6 touchdowns.   WR [player_tooltip player_id='1345963' first='Jordan' last='Bennett'] (Joliet West – 2026)   Bennett is a well-built 6'1” wide receiver that is a smooth route runner.  High points ball in redzone, good hands, and is effective on comeback routes.  Solid blocker.   WR [player_tooltip player_id='1791871' first='Jackson' last='Cook'] (Harlem – 2027)   Cook has reeled in 9 catches for 306 yards and 4 TDs in the first three weeks of the season.  Takes short catches for long gains.  Long and lanky pass catcher that is super smooth as a route runner and with ball in hands.  Also is an explosive return man that can house it!   WR [player_tooltip player_id='1694359' first='Coen' last='Demack'] (Bishop McNamara – 2026)   Through three weeks Demack has racked up a pair of touchdowns and 130 yards as a big play threat on just 4 catches for a 32 YPC.  As a defender he also has a pair of interceptions.   WR [player_tooltip player_id='829490' first='Jaiden' last='Henry'] (Richards – 2026)   Henry through two games played has 14 catches for 190 yards and 1 touchdown.   WR Matt Orban (Lincoln Way East – 2026)   The 5'9” pass catcher for LWE is a slot receiver that brings quickness after the catch.  Short catches and then makes defenders miss after the grab.    WR [player_tooltip player_id='1727710' first='Herman' last='Yancey'] (Perspectives – 2027)   Yancey through the first three weeks of the season has 370 all purpose yards along with an impressive 5 touchdowns.   WR [player_tooltip player_id='1664014' first='Bryce' last='Carlson'] (Grayslake Central – 2026)   In the first three games Carlson has racked up 230 yards on 14 catches for 3 touchdowns along with 1 kick return TD.   WR Colin McEniry (Marmion Academy – 2027)   The 6'3” wide out has made the most out of his 9 catches this season netting 219 yards and 4 touchdowns on those grabs.   WR Sheko Gjokaj Jr (St. Charles East – 2026)   The 5'10” pass catcher has 16 catches for 261 yards and 3 touchdowns in the first three games.   WR Cortez Rose (Cahokia – 2027)   The 6'2” pass catcher has a big frame to throw the ball.  Long strides getting downfield on vertical routes.  Stops on a dime coming back to the ball on short catches.  Snatches the ball with his hands.  Physical blocker downfield in the run game.   WR [player_tooltip player_id='1649681' first='Alex' last='Hrabchak'] (Ridgewood – 2026)   The 6'0” 175 pound pass catcher has been effective early in the season with 14 catches for 234 yards and 3 touchdowns through the first three games.   WR Carter MacDonald (Fremd – 2027)   The Fremd junior has good size at 6'3” 180 pounds and is the go to threat for one of the state's top QBs.  In his three games so far he has caught 13 balls for 131 yards and 1 TD.   OL [player_tooltip player_id='1344896' first='Brogan' last='Kjellesvik'] (Morris – 2027)   The talented 2027 left tackle is a bully in the run game.  Great size and strength to go along with mobility.  Seals off the edge.  Anchors in pass protection along with being able to move from one pass rusher to another.  Solid footwork and is a P4 offensive lineman!   OL [player_tooltip player_id='1329014' first='Cameron' last='Wagner'] (St. Joseph Ogden – 2027)   The 6'6” 290 pound left tackle is the state's top offensive tackle in 2027.  He is huge and skilled!  Wagner plays with a mean streak in the run game absolutely mauling putting dudes on the ground.  Super mobile and quick feet as a pass protector.  Complete offensive lineman!   OL [player_tooltip player_id='1637524' first='Jordan' last='Breuer'] (Belleville West – 2026)   Good start to the season for the Belleville West right tackle.  Good size, strength, and length.  Physical in the run game and can get to the second level.  Has shown well in pass pro as well anchoring and using his strength and length to keep defenders at bay.   OL Jaquaris Green (Peoria – 2026)   Green is a MASSIVE guard!  He moves very well for his size especially pulling and hitting second level defenders on the move.  Also contributes as a nose tackle on the defensive line stuffing vs the run.    OL [player_tooltip player_id='1663562' first='Carson' last='Sexton'] (Gibson City – 2028)   Sexton is a right tackle that impresses in pass pro with his footwork, mirroring, and getting his long arms on defender.  Seals on the edge and you can definitely run behind him.   OL [player_tooltip player_id='1609762' first='Cael' last='Halley'] (Olympia – 2027)   The 6'4” offensive lineman has good size and strength.  Knows how to use it as well with fundamentally sound plays.  Seals off in the run game along with blowing his opponent off the line of scrimmage opening up holes.   OL [player_tooltip player_id='1670032' first='Cameron' last='Henderson'] (Cahokia – 2026)   The 6'0” offensive lineman plays some tackle for Cahokia, but probably projects best at center at next level which he also plays some.  Love the athleticism he brings to the table on the interior with his blocking at the point of attack.  Very good in the run game and sound fundamentally.   OL [player_tooltip player_id='801885' first='Michael' last='Harris'] (Marmion Academy – 2026)   The 6'3” 280 pound offensive lineman is a left tackle that has a good frame.  Mirrors well in pass pro.  Uses his length to keep rushers out of his body.  Solid in the run game as well.   ATH [player_tooltip player_id='801877' first='Lesroy' last='Tittle'] (West Aurora – 2026)   Tittle is a true athlete that impacts all over the field for West Aurora.  As a running back he has smooth cuts, vision, and is a home run threat weaving through the defense downfield.  Good pass catcher as well that can line up at wide receiver and catch passes vertically.  Defensively as a linebacker he plays on the edge attacking down the line of scrimmage in the run game.  Quality punt returner as well who scored a TD in that manner as well.   ATH [player_tooltip player_id='1640622' first='Luke' last='Mahoney'] (Oak Lawn – 2026)   Mahoney has been a two way threat in the first three games of the season racking up 6 catches for 230 yards and 2 touchdowns on offense.  Then on the defensive side he has 16 tackles and an interception.   ATH [player_tooltip player_id='1531345' first='Alex' last='Hernandez'] (Boylan – 2026)   The 5'11” 180 pound athlete is shifty and fast with the ball in his hands.  Home run threat when he gets in space as he has had several long scores already this year.   Can line up as slot receiver or running back.  Smooth acceleration with ball in hands.    ATH [player_tooltip player_id='1371805' first='Tivias' last='Caldwell'] (Wheaton St. Francis – 2027)   The St. Francis two way standout has racked up 156 yards on the ground on 27 carries including 2 touchdowns.  On defense he has 13 tackles, 1 safety, and 1.5 sacks.   K [player_tooltip player_id='1699892' first='Leo' last='Taylor'] (Naperville North – 2026)   Taylor is 10/10 on extra points this season and is a major threat on kickoffs being 11/13 on touchbacks.
