Expert Analysis
Oliver West | Prep Redzone Scout
A Land of Lincoln stud working with the defensive back group, Harlem High School’s Jackson Cook was a recruit heavily watched and scouted at the 2026 PJ Fleck RTB Prospect Camp. Cook produced good showings during testing and drills, where his front-of-the-line attitude, consistent technique, and overall play speed shone through. However, Cook really came alive and during 1v1 competition, where his superb quickness helped him fire out of his breaks with great timing and effectiveness. We watched him breakup a pass on a TE dig in impressive fashion, on a big, long TE target no less, and he made an excellent INT on a seam ball to a 6’4 pass-catcher, highlighting his ball skills and comfortability playing the ball in the air. Cook is strong and physical at the catch point with noticeable eye discipline to boot. Really like what he brings to a collegiate secondary in man coverage, and Cook got better as the day wore on. NDSU, NIU, and a couple of Ivy League competitor in the mix right now.
