<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here we dive into some of the defensive prospects that caught our eye on film with their week 3 performances!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DL [player_tooltip player_id='1352301' first='Dominic' last='Jackson'] (Crete Monee – 2027)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jackson is a defensive tackle that brings quickness and explosiveness up front.&nbsp; Gets after the QB and makes tackles in the backfield in the run game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DL [player_tooltip player_id='1358237' first='Gabriel' last='Lisowiec'] (IC Catholic – 2028)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This defensive tackle was effective on the inside making tackles vs St. Ignatius.&nbsp; Uses his quickness and hands to get after the running back.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>LB [player_tooltip player_id='1525074' first='Sitaleki' last='Militoni'] (Mt. Carmel – 2027)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The southern Illinois linebacker showed good instincts on an interception that he returned for a pick 6. Sets the edge in the run game and gets off blocks well.&nbsp; As a running back he hits the hole cutting back up field going north and south.&nbsp; He finished with an interception returned for TD, 4 tackles, 2 TFL, and offensively ran for 130 yards.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>LB [player_tooltip player_id='1178871' first='Logan' last='Oros'] (Wheaton Academy – 2027)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Oros is explosive making plays getting downhill for TFL in the run game.&nbsp; He had an interception dropping back in coverage over the middle that he took back for a touchdown.&nbsp; Gets through trash making tackle and runs well to the ball.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>LB Trioeontez Williams (Chatham Glenwood – 2026)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Athletic linebacker that runs well to the ball.&nbsp; Speed to the ball carrier on straight line takes.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DB [player_tooltip player_id='1665741' first='Deveon' last='Webb'] (Perspectives – 2026)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Webb had a big outing in week 3 recording a pair of interceptions including a pick 6 against Dyett.&nbsp; Also had a forced fumble in the game!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DB [player_tooltip player_id='1743262' first='Kobe' last='Lewis'] (Ridgewood – 2027)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lewis is a 5'9” playmaking defensive back.&nbsp; As a slot corner he got an interception in week 3.&nbsp; Sound tackler that wraps up down low and takes good angles to the ball.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
