Anderson is the #5 overall prospect in the 2026 class is a nationally ranked tight end that was heavily pursued by schools nationally, but particularly in the SEC. He ultimately chose Ole Miss over Illinois and Auburn. First decision with Anderson will be does he stick with Ole Miss after Kiffin has left. Next will be if he follows him to LSU. The Tigers were a school that was definitely involved with Anderson during the recruiting process the first time around. As of the time of this story there has been no affirmation of his commitment to Ole Miss. With Kiffin being an offensive guy and part of the offensive staff leaving with him it wouldn’t shock us if Anderson opens this back up or flips to LSU.
Tuesday Update: Anderson has flipped his commitment to LSU joining Lane Kiffin in Baton Rouge.
One of the most coveted pass catchers in the Midwest is headed to Ole Miss. He got his team to state a year ago and is looking to grab one more win this year.
As a junior Anderson reeled in 46 catches for 524 yards and 8 scores for the 4A runners up. He has a huge frame at 6’7″ and 230 pounds. Can line up both on the line or outside. Big time jump ball threat that high points them snatching them out of the air before the DB can have a shot at it. Wide catch radius. Has some vertical pop as well finding the seams of the defense. More than capable blocker with his tenacity for blocking downfield. When he has the ball in his hands after the catch or running with the ball he is tough to bring down with the power he runs with. Has some Gronk like qualities with way he plays and runs.
