Dalton High School’s Top Underclassmen Standouts

A lot of talented players start to catch wind when it comes to their underclassmen years, as there are many teams that have a ton of underclassmen with plenty of talent.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This includes a former powerhouse that has been on a downward slide as of recent. That program is the Dalton High School Catamounts, who have an extremely young team yet again, as the majority of their players will be returning for another season or two following the conclusion of this season. Their youth has been shown throughout the last two seasons, but there are still promising traits from many of their players.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This includes multiple underclassmen with true potential. He is someone who brings plenty of size to the table, but the most intriguing part of his game is his ability to make plays after the catch. He is someone who can run with power behind him, but his above-average speed makes it easier for yards to be picked up. He has been playing tons of slots this season, and can be utilized in the motion game, as they love to use him in that regard. He has plenty of speed, which makes up for him being undersized. His patience is among the best I have seen this season, as his patience has allowed him to create open space. He has made some mistakes, but his ability to make throws to tight windows has been one-of-one in the area. His concentration and footwork are excellent, as he is someone who has been able to utilize his size on the outside. He has been utilized in many different ways and is one of the more athletic tight ends in the state, as he has done a great job finding ways to get open for the Catamounts' offense.
