Weber has settled in nicely as a first-year starting quarterback after replacing his older brother in the role. Brady Weber graduated in the spring. Brooks had completed 60 percent of his passes for 693 yards (14.1 YPC) and nine touchdowns against one interception through the first three games of 2025. Weber recently posted clips of some exploits on his Hudl page. While it's only a sampling, the junior flashes potential and looks comfortable playing the position. Weber can ding defenses with his arm or legs. He does a nice job of keeping plays alive off of schedule, going through his progressions and improvising when needed.

Burton saw limited varsity action as a freshman last season. He used that time to prepare for stepping into the QB1 role in 2025. It looks like that work is paying off. Through the first three games of the season, Burton had completed 58.3 percent of his passes for 699 yards (16.6 YPC) and eight touchdowns against only one interception. There's limited video footage available of of Burton in action. What we do see on those highlights is a well-rounded skill set and a prospect packed with potential. Burton displays easy arm strength and the ability to release the ball unconventionally on the move. His ball placement is sharp, giving his receivers chances to win 50-50 opportunities or run after the catch.

Morgan is coming back from an injury that ended his junior season after just 41 carries. It was a tough blow during an important time for his recruitment. Colleges would be wise to recognize how he's bounced back now that he's healthy. Through the first three games of 2025, Morgan had rushed for 440 yards (16.3 YPC) with eight touchdowns. He added five receptions for 33 yards and a score. While Morgan stands out for his ability to break a long run at any time, he's also a well-rounded back with excellent natural talents at the position. He can stick his foot in the ground and juke defenders and his vision helps him to daylight.

Wagaman flashed potential as a quarterback and defense back last season when he threw for 161 yards and a couple of touchdowns as the backup signal caller and produced 9.0 solo tackles and an interception in the secondary. He's realized more of that promise on both sides of the ball through the first three games of 2025. As QB1, Wagaman had thrown for 873 yards (21.3 YPC) and 10 touchdowns against just one interception. Defensively, he ranked among the state's leaders with four picks. Of his 20.5 tackles, 21 were of the solo variety. He added one stop for loss. Wagaman stands out as an athlete as evidenced by his basketball success. He's become an intriguing football prospect.

Mulder proved to be a disruptive force for the Nighthawks as a junior in 2024. He came up with 23.5 tackles (7 solo, 8.5 TFL) and 1.5 sacks. Mulder is at it again this fall with 19.0 stops (9 solo, 7.5 TFL), 4.0 sacks and a forced fumble through three weeks of his senior campaign. Mulder lends insight into how he gets the job done during his 11th-grade highlight video. On it, he proves to be a versatile linebacker capable of producing lining up in different spots around the formation. Mulder plays with good tempo and gets downhill in a hurry. He's a technically sound tackler and likely would also be an asset on special teams at the next level.

Williams is off to a fast start as a sophomore on the Van Meter varsity, which is saying something in a program annually filled with talented student-athletes. He's rushed 39 times for 176 yards and a touchdown, and added three receptions for 30 yards. He shows off speed and power in this pickup off of a screen pass. Williams has contributed on the other side of the ball, too. His 30.0 tackles through three games put him among the team leaders. Williams has 15 solo stops and a tackle for loss. He's preparing himself to succeed and is firmly on the radar as a prospect to monitor moving forward.
