The latest edition of the Prep Redzone Illinois Class of 2027 has been unveiled and now sits at 250 prospects. Here we dive into the top players at each position with the premier players at each position. Today we look at 2027 Rankings Update: Top Offensive Lineman!

[player_tooltip player_id='1329014' first='Cameron' last='Wagner'] (St. Joseph-Ogden)

Wagner is one of the premier prospects in the state regardless of position at 6'6" 300 pounds. The right tackle has great size and frame. Plays with a mean streak. He moves bodies in the run game consistently pancaking them to the ground. Also he uses his athleticism to get to the second level driving defenders downfield. Mauls in the run game. So physically imposing including sealing off in the run. As a pass protector he has good footwork and a strong set. Uses his length to keep rushers out of his body. Often defenders end up on the ground while trying to get up field.

[player_tooltip player_id='901504' first='Carlos' last='Rios'] (DePaul Prep)

Rios is one of the best tackles in the class. The 6'5" 290 pound right tackle started on a state title team as a sophomore. Wide body and excellent footwork. Big time in pass protection with his typewriter feet, mirroring, and how light he plays for his size. Great technique. Has the size and length to be a mauler in the run game as well. Chance to be a complete tackle.

[player_tooltip player_id='1344896' first='Brogan' last='Kjellesvik'] (Morris)

This Morris 6'4" 260 pound left tackle is one of the better offensive lineman in the class. Excellent technique and very physical. Really shines in pass protection as he mirrors about as well as anyone and has outstanding footwork. Anchors with his strength. Very instinctual and technically sound. Athleticism and mobility show in the run game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1335278' first='Luke' last='Injaychock'] (Nazareth)

Injaychock is a 6'4" 290 pound left guard that gets his man on the ground consistently as a pancake machine. So physical in the run game. Really like him as a pass blocker with his wide base and athleticism. Very light on his feet, mirrors, and uses his length. Also impacts defensively as an interior defensive lineman that could have some potential on that side at the next level as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1598833' first='Mason' last='Halliman'] (Lincoln Way East)

Halliman is a 6'5" 250 pound offensive tackle that is light on his feet and has a frame to continue adding strength. Plus athlete that moves bodies in run game with technically sound blocking driving from down low. Like what he brings as a pass protector with his fluidity, footwork, and use of length. Mirrors well and can get physical in pass game with his hands.

[player_tooltip player_id='1334139' first='Angeles' last='Coleman'] (Sterling)

Super intriguing left tackle at 6'5" 260 pounds with a frame that can easily carry a ton more. Wide base and moves his feet extremely well. Very athletic with his movement skills and does a nice job using his hands. Good raw strength and plays with a mean streak. Could blow up over next year.

[player_tooltip player_id='472668' first='Josiah' last='Wallace'] (Glenbard West)

Wallace is an absolutely MASSIVE offensive tackle at 6'7" 280 pounds. Making the move to Glenbard West for his junior year after previously being at Mt. Carmel. Moves well considering how big he is. Blows up guys on the second level. Very good pass blocker that anchors and mirrors well. Technically sound. Alot of upside and potential.

[player_tooltip player_id='1335452' first='Ethan' last='Posey'] (Brother Rice)

Posey is a 6'5" 290 pound offensive tackle that racked up 58 pancakes as a sophomore last year. The left tackle is just a massive human. He plays with tenacity and a mean streak in the run game. Gave some Michael Oher rides down the field on tape that were impressive. So physically imposing. Tough to get around and gets man on ground in pass pro.
