Coleman is a 6’5” offensive tackle that plays with a wide base and plus athleticism. He has raw strength and moves defenders off the ball with his power. Mobile athlete recently landed an offer from Florida Atlantic along with holding ones from Akron and Liberty offers. Would expect more schools to get involved in the spring.

Super intriguing left tackle at 6’5″ 260 pounds with a frame that can easily carry a ton more. Wide base and moves his feet extremely well. Very athletic with his movement skills and does a nice job using his hands. Good raw strength and plays with a mean streak. Could blow up over next year.

Despite the loss we could not have been any more impressed with what we saw from Coleman! He is a massive offensive tackle at 6’5”. The left tackle has super long arms and moves extremely well for his size. Light on his feet and was elite all night in pass protection. Shadowed his man, kept them out of his body, and set in pass pro when he needed. The athleticism showed in the run game as he can get to the second level and is powerful with his hands. P4 guy early in the process!

The second-to-last varsity contributor on this talented 2027 PRzIL OL rankings group, Sterling’s 6’5, 260 lber. Angeles Coleman Angeles Coleman 6'5" | 260 lbs | OL Sterling | 2027 State IL is still a bit of a mystery and doesn’t have a lot of information and data points available, but the RT shows some promising ability in both run and pass blocking and flashed physical dominance against varsity defensive lineman as a 14-year-old. The rising sophomore comfortable and effective in pass pro and brings the fight to the rusher. Pass pro isn’t passive, and Coleman is a nice example of that. He displays good footwork and is laterally agile when needed, is a lean, long, reported 260 pounds and places with balance and aggression. I like how hard he is to disengage from when he gets his hands on a DL. Inside hands, drives to finish, and fights to stay engaged, and he demonstrates good initial pop and is a strong freshman with no issues playing with physicality. Gotta like the varsity exposure in his first year of high school, as well as the size and technical prowess with so much room and time to develop. Should be a constant presence in the upper echelons of the 2027 PrepRedzoneIL rankings.
