<p>Prep Redzone Illinois was at Collinsville High School for the Illinois High School Spring Showcase featuring prospects from the metro east and southern Illinois. It was a great event with a ton of college level prospects putting their skills on display in front of college coaches. Here is a look at the <strong>Top Back Seven Defenders</strong> at the event!</p>

<p><strong>Linebackers</strong></p>

<p>Fox presents good size at 6'2” 200 pounds. He has a thick frame and takes good angles. Coming off a productive year for the Tigers.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2084252' first='Hunter' last='Valentine'] (Pinckneyville – 2028)</strong></p>

<p>Valentine is an inside linebacker that takes good angles and is sound fundamentally. At 6'0” 200 pounds he is a high IQ backer that makes plays going forward and backward from the second level.</p>

<p>Ramirez is a linebacker that 6'1” 185 pound linebacker that had an impressive interception downfield high pointing the ball.</p>

<p><strong>Defensive Backs</strong></p>

<p><strong>Anthony Brown (Collinsville – 2027)</strong></p>

<p>Brown was the best defensive back at the camp. The 5'11” 154 pound corner was elite during the drill work. Super fluid getting in and out his breaks. Good length with broad shoulders and a projectable frame. Really like the movement skills and is super fluid with everything he did. Super easy in the back pedal.</p>

<p><strong>Dawson Anderson (Collinsville – 2029)</strong></p>

<p>Anderson is a 5'10” 165 pound corner that has a nice frame that he can continue to add strength. Super quick getting in and out cuts.</p>

<p>The 5'11” 170 pound defensive back had a really impressive interception on one of the top quarterbacks in the event. Jumped the route over the middle driving hard on the ball.</p>

<p><strong>Ty Willis (Belleville West – 2027)</strong></p>

<p>Wills goes 5'11” 175 pounds. Super long arms and fluid movement skills. Smooth back pedal and went through drill work with ease!</p>

<p><strong>Christian Miller (O'Fallon – 2027)</strong></p>

<p>At 6'2” 180 pounds Miller has a projectable frame with excellent length. Good movement skills. Lot of upside to dream on here with the size and athleticism.</p>

<p><strong>Daniel Shropshire (O'Fallon – 2028)</strong></p>

<p>This 5'8” 135 pound defensive back is small, but super tough. Made a nice play at the end of the night batting down a pass in traffic with his hands without getting interference.</p>
