Kenneff, a 1st year starting quarterback for Hempfield, is playing at a high level as the game is starting to slow down for him. Kenneff is excellent in the pocket, continuing to throw the ball at a high level. Young is starting to play at a high level for a Wilson team that is having a good year. Young's ability to be a good quarterback inside and outside the pocket makes him an excellent quarterback. He threw for 259 yards during the game. Chismar is an excellent quarterback who excels in the pocket. His ability to sit in the pocket and consistently deliver a good ball to his receivers is impressive. When the play breaks down, he can also scramble around and make a play with his feet as well. He rushed for 320 yards and had 6 touchdowns. An incredible performance by Dennison earned him a game ball. Dennison's ability to hit the hole and rush for big yards is impressive. Once he gets into the open field, he is off to the races, and nobody can stop him. He is also a physical running back who is hard to bring down. He is currently not ranked in our class, but he should eventually get ranked. He is a home run hitter everytime he touches the ball because of how fast he is as a running back. He isn't the biggest running back, but he has a burst and quickness, and is an excellent running back. Against Jeanette, he rushed for 257 yards and 4 touchdowns. Plus, he had 37 carries during the game as he showed that he is the true bell cow for Leechburg. His ability to run past defenders is excellent. He has good speed, and he ran by defenders on go routes. He also shows the ability to take short passes and make bigger plays, as he is after the catch. Shearer has great size (6'4") and moves well inside and outside the pocket. He has a strong arm, and he is excellent at throwing the ball into tight windows. When the play breaks down, his ability to scramble around and make plays for his team is good. Against Northern York, he threw for 350 yards and 5 touchdown passes. When he gets into the open field, he has elite speed as he can run by defenders in the open field for a big play. He also shows patience as he waits for the hole to open, and he explodes through it. In a 33-28 win over Franklin Regional, Moorefield had a huge game. He had 174 receiving yards and two touchdowns. What I love about how he plays is that he is a complete receiver. His ability to make defenders miss is excellent as he has good speed and moves. He also shows the ability to go up high and catch the ball.
