He is a stock riser with tons of potential. He is disruptive as he constantly fires off the ball right when the offense snaps the ball. He also shows good bend and strength as he can make moves against bigger offensive linemen. He also has good motor skills as he always chases plays all over the field. Against Hempfield last week, McKInley-Jones was able to have 3 sacks on the evening. I am excited to see how he plays this year. He had 15 tackles, as he made tackles all night for his team. He is an excellent run stopper between the tackles. His ability to fly around and make plays is excellent. He is also a good tackler, who makes ball carriers feel it when he tackles them. He also shows good ability as a tight end. He does a good job moving all over the formation to block defenders. I like how he leads up and blocks on run plays. The other part of his game is his ability to catch the ball. He only caught one pass, but there is potential for more catches. His ability to hit the hole and make defenders miss is special. He has a good burst that makes him difficult to tackle. He is also a physical runner who is hard to tackle. His legs are always churning and moving forward. Carothers had a good week one game, where he rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown. He scored two touchdowns. The 1st was a pick-6 from his outside linebacker position. He read the play perfectly, then picked it off and raced it to the end zone. The 2nd play was a great play by him, catching a short hitch, breaking several tackles to the end zone. As an outside linebacker, he shows a good ability to play in space. He had an impressive interception when he went up and outjumped the wide receiver for the ball. He also chipped in with 5 catches for 74 yards. One of his catches was a jump ball where he was an athlete who made the play over the defensive back. Dixon is a good athlete who is an underrated player in the 2026 class. He showed an ability to play well inside and outside the pocket. Inside the pocket, he has good footwork and mechanics. I like how he has quiet feet and delivers a good ball to his receivers. Then he is a good athlete who, when the play breaks down, can scramble around and make plays with his feet. He shows the ability to take off and run, but he also shows the ability to scramble around and throw the ball to find open receivers. He was efficient in week one, going 15/18 for 187 yards.
