Jackson has proved he is one of the top uncommitted signal callers across the region heading into the season and he picked up right where he left off on Friday night against Atwater. The dual-threat passer looked sharp, spread the ball around on time and showed he is a big time running threat both on designed runs and when buying time in the pocket. Jackson threw for 316 yards and 4 scores while taking on a 77% completion percentage on the night. Jackson is going to be a very nice late steal for a college program come signing day and has been severely flying under the radar.

Banks had perhaps the biggest passing weekend of any signal caller in the opening week and went toe to toe with a tough and physical Vacaville team that is loaded with talent. Banks was a do it all play-maker on the night, passing for 437 yards and 7 TD's while tacking on another 120 rushing yards with 1 more score. He is another signal caller on the best available list and recently picked up his first over from Eastern Oregon over the weekend and should see a slew of other NAIA/D2 schools come in through his senior season.

Lyons who is one of the top signal callers in the nation put on a show on Friday night in Del Paso heights on ESPN. To no surprise, he threw for 400+ yards and 5 touchdowns and had full command of the game both when running and passing downfield to a full list of weapons he has at every position. Lyons picked up right where he left off in 2024, and should have another stellar year for one of the states top teams. The Bulldogs will continue on through their brutal none-league schedule next week when they travel to the Bay Area to take one one of the states best, the Serra Padres on Saturday afternoon.

Lopez is another one of the regions best available signal callers that has been flying under the radar in his prep career and had a tremendous showing on Friday night for Casa Roble against Placer. Lopez showed he can get the ball out quick and fit into tight windows while also showing deep ball accuracy, a strong pocket presence and full control of the game at the line of scrimmage. He is a high IQ passer that can buy time with his legs, zip the ball into tight spaces and should have a huge senior season for this loaded Casa Roble team. He will be another elite late steal for a college program and is a key name to note as we move closer to national signing day.

Slone who is committed to Nevada and one of the top signal callers in northern California, got off to a hot start in the opening week of SJS play against a tough and physical Turlock squad. He passed for 200+ yards and 3 scores and looked sharp through out the game both when using his legs and when delivering through the air. Slone should once again lead Rocklin deep into the SJS playoff's and the Thunder could be a legit northern California bowl game participant come early December.
