PSR Big Camp Series, New Jersey: Wide Receivers, Volume IV

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On Saturday, May 10th, 2025 I was welcomed back for the third year in a row to cover&nbsp;<a href="https://x.com/ScoutNickP">Coach Nick Pennisi</a>‘s&nbsp;<em>PSR Big Camp Series</em>&nbsp;hosted at Monroe High School in Monroe, New Jersey. As I have come to expect, this event was packed with participation, loaded with talent, and ran extremely well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Different than other events, Pennisi opted to have three different check-in times, based on position groupings. This afforded me the opportunity to get a closer look at many of the prospects in attendance. Below are just some of my notes on the position group mentioned in this article's title.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Be sure to follow me on&nbsp;<a href="https://x.com/BrendanScoutsNJ"><strong>Twitter</strong></a>&nbsp;for the latest updates in New Jersey high school football.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:separator --> <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" /> <!-- /wp:separator --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This piece features four prospects out of the Big Central Conference, first covering two prospects from neighboring Union County towns. Rahway's [player_tooltip player_id='1695327' first='Synceir' last='Toussaint'] came out to compete, showing plenty to glow about. At 6'3" 191lbs there is plenty of frame to work with, and Toussaint did a good job of using it to his advantage. Likely a basketball player due to the transferrable skills I saw, at moments Toussaint boxouted his opponents on fades, while also high pointing the ball masterfully. I do, however, wish to see Toussaint's hands become a bit stronger through contact and softer when open... Traveling the next town over to Linden, we saw [player_tooltip player_id='1695331' first='Jayden' last='Gauthier'] compete live. Taking advantage and exploiting poor competition, Gauthier ran a very good route that cooked a very bad defender.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Taking the trip down Route 27 into Middlesex County, Highland Park sent [player_tooltip player_id='1695330' first='Kaseem' last='Qualls'] out to rep their borough. Qualls showed that he has decent hips, breaking down and getting open on an out route, while also having complimentary ball skills as he adjusted to a poorly thrown ball he converted - making a not-so-simple catch look simple... From South Brunswick, [player_tooltip player_id='1695326' first='Zi'yon' last='Collins'] came out to ball.
