I will be covering the North Ga Mtn, Northwest, and West Georgia non-metro Atlanta Areas for PRZN this season. We are always on the lookout for that undiscovered diamond in the rough as well as those players already ranked. During the Fall we will have in-depth analysis and player evals. Below are a few of the players that caught our eye during scrimmage Week 1. A few already have multiple evaluations on our site already while others are added to our "Watch List" for further evaluation this Fall.

Quarterbacks

Eli Brock ('27 Bremen): The 6'3 195 had a good night throwing for close to 200 yards and 3 TDs. Athletic frame, good composure, and strong accurate arm.

[player_tooltip player_id='262739' first='JR' last='Harris'] ('27 Central): No stranger to us here at PRZN. One of the top returning dual threat QBs returning in AAAA. Harris had a great scrimmage going 10/13 for 166 yards with 2 TDs. The Lions are loaded this Fall and Harris will see his recruitment continue to take off.

[player_tooltip player_id='1090770' first='Hayden' last='Jones'] ('26 Pickens): The 6'2 190 Seniors expectations have soared this off-season. Jones had limited work in the opening scrimmage but showed why his stock has risen this Summer, connecting on a long pass to set up the Dragons 1st of 5 TDs.

[player_tooltip player_id='401548' first='Moss' last='Tant'] ('26 Pepperell): The 6'3 Senior looked good Friday throwing 2 TDs in the varsity half v Mt Zion. A lot of buzz in Lindale about Tant and the Dragons in '25.

Running Backs

[player_tooltip player_id='422543' first='Jonaz' last='Walton']/ [player_tooltip player_id='950879' first='Jacez' last='Walton'] (Central) : The Walton brother duo is going to be a headache for defenses this Fall. Jonaz (2026) is a recent Notre Dame commit and a Pre-season All State selection. The younger Jacez (2028) shows the same power and speed and is destine to be a top RB recruit in the '28 Class.

Will Rajecki ('26 Sequoyah): The 6'0 200 Memphis commit looked unstoppable in his limited carries Friday. He rushed 7 times for 104 yards and scored a TD. The defense looked like they were on ice trying to corral the shifty Rajecki. A pre-season All State selection, the Senior will have a big season this year for the Chiefs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1610586' first='Nate' last='Davis'] ('26 Rockmart): Not only is the 5'11 190 Senior one of the best LBs in our area but he can tote the rock. A strong kid with a lot of power and has the speed to score once he barrels his way through the 2nd level. Tough to bring down on initial contact. A "football player" that rarely leaves the field on Friday night.

[player_tooltip player_id='1698150' first='Jeremiah' last='Frost'] ('27 Ringgold): We saw this 5'10 195 Junior break onto the scene last year v Dade Co. Powerful explosive back with good speed, scored a couple TDs v Tyner Friday night.

Wide Receivers

Justin Faulkner ('26 Bremen): The Northern Illinois commit had a big night with 160 yards receiving with 3 TDs

[player_tooltip player_id='1626107' first='Gavin' last='Green'] ('28 Rockmart) : I really liked this Sophomore Friday night. Good speed, athletic, and had great hands in traffic. A lock down DB as well.

Mccord Purdy ('26 Pickens): One of the more under rated WR in our Area. He should get plenty of targets this Fall and he showed why Friday. The 6'2 Senior had close to 100 yards and a TD during the 1st Q.

[player_tooltip player_id='942245' first='Jake' last='Ivester'] ('27 Central): The 6'0 178 Junior looks like he could have breakout '25 as one of the top 2-way players in the Region. He had 3 catches for 68 yards and a TD to go along with a PBU and 3 TT in 2 quarters.
