Bessinger is our pick for Region 1 Offensive Player of the Year. He's got three talented receivers that will force defenses to play zone, and he can pick apart the defense and go with any of his options. Bessinger has great size, and he's done well this offseason and put on good size. He can easily get 3,750 yards and 45 touchdowns this season

I keep saying if Sparrow focused solely on defense, he would be an elite defensive back, and even though his future is at receiver, he's our pick for Region 1 Defensive Player of the Year. He is an exceptional athlete and has great range and closing speed as a defensive back. His ball tracking and ball hawk capabilities are elite, and he very well could get 20 receiving touchdowns and 15 interceptions this season. Elite athlete.

DeVries should make an impact at varsity this year and is our prediction for Newcomer of the Year. Weber loses a lot of production, and with the ample vacated targets available, DeVries could very well pick up a bunch of them. He should be part of the receiving rotation and continue to earn playing time as the season goes on.

Weber loses a lot of production on the defensive side, and Munoz has done well this offseason and is our prediction for Region 1 Defensive Newcomer of the Year. He shows good instincts, is an excellent mover, has good burs,t and moves well laterally. Munoz has good cover skills and will stick to a receiver's hip pocket. He has all the potential to be a key contributor and an impact player next year.

Hasson is an exceptional lineman and has done a great job this offseason. I'd argue he's the best Center in the 26 class. He has good leverage, shows physicality, and has a good, strong base. Hasson moves well, is light on his feet, and is an underrated lineman.

Morrison is an exciting cover corner who moves well and has good hip fluidity. He's got good athletic movement patterns and will be an important piece in that defensive back room.

Region 1 Winner?
Davis Darts
The Darts are set up for a deep postseason run, and they have seasoned players at all key positions. Offensively, they can keep up with anyone in the state. They have a trio of receivers that can compete with any other trio in the state, and I'd argue they have one of the elite receiving rooms in the state. Region 1 Runner Up?
Weber Warriors
The Warriors have key pieces returning, and they arguably have the deepest quarterback room, so if anything happens to one, they won't miss a step with the other. I would argue, they have the best running back in the region and a top 3 running back for the entire region. They don't have an easy schedule, but they should fare well with the teams they'll line up against and have a shot at the region if everything goes their way.
Region 1 Contender?
Farmington Pheonix
The Phoenix are playing catch-up with a new Head Coach in place and a new install for their offense, but they have a good defense and have some interesting pieces. If the new parts live up to the expectation, they could surprise people.
