Mason has good size, and he is a lineman who is light on his feet. He can work inside or outside and has the athleticism to be used in the pulling game and getting to the second level. He has a great feel and understanding of the game. He is quick off the line and shows good lateral quickness. His hands are quick, he presents with good physicality, and he will continue to grow into his frame. He has an athletic build, and with his broad frame, he has the ability to tack on additional weight and carry it well. His athleticism is his calling card; he's quick, has good lateral movement, and uses his athleticism to make up for any issues that may arise. He has clean footwork, and he's light on his feet; he has a strong base and has quick hands. He holds up well to power rushers and has the athleticism and footwork to keep speed rushers in front of him. He's a fun prospect to watch, and as he continues to grow, he could very well be the top lineman in the class. He has a good frame and is a violent, and phsyical player. He's an exciting backer who has good instincts and a feel for the game. He is at his best when he is an on-ball, attacking backer, but he has the footwork to work in open space and with his ball skills, is one that will be comfortable in coverage. His physicality translates on offense as he's taken snaps as a running back before and is a player that should be an every-down player, and depending on the depth at the running back position, should be looked at as someone who contributes on both sides of the ball.
