RJ is a fun player to watch. He has a good frame and is a violent, and phsyical player. He’s an exciting backer who has good instincts and a feel for the game. He is at his best when he is an on-ball, attacking backer, but he has the footwork to work in open space and with his ball skills, is one that will be comfortable in coverage. His physicality translates on offense as he’s taken snaps as a running back before and is a player that should be an every-down player, and depending on the depth at the running back position, should be looked at as someone who contributes on both sides of the ball. Big time prospect and a D1 level prospect.

RJ is a player who was a standout performer as a freshman and came into the showcase as one of the better prospects in the 2029 class. He’s a player with good, clean footwork and has good quickness and a player that moves well. He is going to have an excellent offseason and continue to be an impact player on defense.

RJ has been exceptional this year and has been an immediate impact starter as a linebacker for Fremont. He shows good instincts, is an athletic mover with the ability to weave his way through traffic without getting bogged down. He has an explosive first step off the line and has been an important piece this year and could very well be in the mix to work in offensively next year as a running back. He has exceptional traits and a player on the ascend.

Fonoti is a two-way player, and an argument can be made on either side of where he will be a better fit. He is a physical and imposing player on both sides. As a runner, he shows good vision, does a good job of getting through the first level, and then blends power with speed as he’ll look to get to the edge and find his runway for home, and he isn’t shy about lowering his pads and giving something back to the defense. He has good contact balance and moves well laterally. That skillset translates over as a backer where he shows great instincts, sheds his blocks and has good closing speed and is comfortable as an on-ball backer and in coverage as an off-ball backer. Great tool set and a D1 player at the next level.

Fonoti is the LB2 and the 40th ranked prospect in the state. He plays both sides of the ball. He is a physical prospect with good explosive first step and has great instincts and feel for the game. He moves well athletically, is twitchy and has good speed. Fonoti might end up as a safety due to his size but when he finds his position, it’ll be interesting to see where he settles. He is a playmaker and it’s just about finding his true position.

- Heard-hitting Linebacker that comes with a body that looks ready for varsity action already, despite still having several months to go before even starting high school.
- On top of his ability as a Linebacker, which is where I see him playing long term, he’s also a punishing Running Back on the offensive side of the ball. Proving to be one of the better RBs in the greater Salt Lake City area too.
- On film his lateral movement is elite. His ability to scrape, while keeping his toes pointed towards the line of scrimmage and keeping his head on a swivel to avoid blocks is nothing short of text book play.
