Jakson is a versatile defensive lineman. He can play inside or on the outside. He plays with good physicality and has quick hands. He has a good first step and has the power to finish his reps. He possesses good footwork and seeing him as an on-ball backer could give him more looks in recruiting. With his strength and ability to shed blocks, being used as an attacking backer could be an interesting route for him.
Jakson plays with good physicality and has the necessary size to slide inside if nneded. He’s a physical power rusher that has the lateral quickness and hip bend to play the EDGE and set the tone. He has a good first step and does an excellent job of hand fighting. He mixes power and speed well. He is a player that is being overlooked in recruiting.
Jakson finishes the year as the 23rd-ranked prospect and the EDGE5 in the class. Jakson has good size and can line up as an EDGE rusher or move inside if needed. He has good strength and plays with excellent physicality. He is an active defender who is disciplined and does well against the rush and the pass. He has good acceleration and is a player who will continue to refine his craft. Lots of traits to like.
Masters has been ultra productive this season and has been an active edge rusher who does well in run support as well. He has good size and a frame to add on an additional 20 lbs with ease. He is good off the line and shows good physicality in his game. He’ll be tasked to create pressure and maintain gap integrity and not allow running lanes. If he can create pressure while not leaving any gaps for running lanes, he’ll be a key part of the game plan to stymie the Corner Canyon offense.
Masters is an attacking pass rusher, and he’ll need to add pressure against a Davis offense that likes to move the ball around and open things up. If he can add pressure to Davis and speed up the internal clock, it could create turnovers for the Fremont secondary.
Masters is a physical player with good play strength and put that on full display this past Friday. He was all over the field and made plays, and disrupted the flow ofthe Weber offense. He reached double digits in tackles and was a player who was a handful. He showed good quickness and is a player that used good hand fighting to win as well, he’s made good progress in the offseason. A big year is ahead for him.
Masters has good size and frame and should continue to grow into it. He is a physical player with a good first step and good closing speed. Masters does a good job of shedding his blocks and continues his pursuit. He’s an excellent rusher and isn’t lost in space when in coverage.
Masters is one of the top EDGE prospects in the 2027 class. Shows flexibility to bend at the LOS. Burst to get up field, use of hands to make quick contact, strength/power and fluid hips to get around and under the block. Masters has the size and athletic ability to compete against offensive line prospects with size and movement.
Masters is a versatile athlete who can be an EDGE rusher and has the coverage skills to lineup at all three linebacker positions. His versatility makes him a valuable piece for a defense. Masters has good speed and great off-the-line. He shows good technique and great instincts. He showcases good patience, is an exciting prospect in the state and will get heavily recruited.
