’26 Rankings Update: Shake Up within the Top-150 Ranked, Part III

Off of the heels of a breakthrough sophomore campaign that saw him convert 41 receptions into 1063 yards with 16 touchdowns - which placed him amongst the leaders in the state - his 2025 offseason for [player_tooltip player_id='1170233' first='Josiah' last='Zayas'] saw changes more frequent than the seasons. Originally a Syracuse commit, Zayas has since decommitted and reopened his recruitment. St. Thomas Aquinas made the decision to change coaches, moving on from Tarig Holman and proceeding with Jonathan Germano. Germano then changed his mind and resigned before ever coaching a game. It may seem like a case of iron-sharpening-iron as Costa played along the same defensive line as New Jersey's #3 prospect [player_tooltip player_id='829432' first='Damari' last='Simeon']. Costa gains a lot of ground on his first two steps and extends nicely. As a backside bender, he scrapes back down the line flat. This uptick in production combined with the level of competition he plays, has earned Clarke scholarship offers from Temple, Buffalo, UConn, Rice, South Florida, Virginia Tech, James Madison, Tulane,
