The cause of a good program is good coaching. The byproduct of good coaching is quality prospects. This causation equals correlation methodology applies to Rumson-Fair Haven's [player_tooltip player_id='1547525' first='Aidan' last='Lane']. An outstanding offensive lineman, Lane does several things exceedingly well. First, we see that he keeps his eyes up when doubling. This allows him to peel off or overtake the down-lineman, depending on how the linebacker plays it. Should he have to overtake, Lane has good leg drive to displace one-on-one blocks. I also thought that he does a really nice job of working up into his assignment tight so they cannot maneuver. Lastly, Lane has a nasty streak, looking to light people up when he peels back on screens and has quick feet that allow him to win on reach blocks.

Yes, it is cheap-and-easy to like the tape of the state's best defensive lineman, who is also ranked third in his class. However, I absolutely love [player_tooltip player_id='1259105' first='Aidan' last='O'Neil']'s film. I am not sure there is anything O'Neil cannot do on the defensive line. With the versatility to play nose, 3-tech, or edge in either an even or an odd front, he is a dangerous prospect who walks back opponents to establish a new line of scrimmage and squeezes with hands on religiously to force bounces. Moreover, O'Neil has the athleticism to spy opposing quarterbacks and the speed to beat them to the edge. These same traits allow him to execute line stunts flawlessly. Beyond the outstanding traits described above, what makes O'Neil a defensive line coach's dream is that he plays with outstanding half-gap control.

An exciting runner with the ball in his hands, [player_tooltip player_id='1523178' first='Aiden' last='Binns'] has plenty of moves and then some. We see Binns go airborne at times, hurdling diving defenders only to land on his feet and keep trucking along. I think his coaches might have heard Rutgers head man Greg Schiano speak because Binns absolutely chins the ball, prioritizing ball security by doing so. Vision and quickness are also a part of his game. We see the 180lber make early cutbacks against the grain behind the line of scrimmage if he sees a cutback on zone plays. Tough yardage is something Binns takes as a personal challenge. We see him burry his head, torpedoing into a stalemated pile, only to move it along himself. Due to the way he hits gaps and seams quickly, I feel as though Binns profiles, and is good at, being a one-cut runner who can gets upfield vertically well - not wasting time going east-west.

Carteret continues to be a program that has some outstanding individual athletes on their roster, and [player_tooltip player_id='1524429' first='Al-Naiquan' last='Boseman'] continues this trend. Boseman gets to top speed very quickly, which affords him the opportunity to make something out of nothing and beat linebackers to the sideline. This speed, combined with a dash of vision and disciplined running allows him to burst through holes where they are designed. One thing that Boseman does well is not get overzealous with his cuts. Yes, he does have the ability to cut it back; however, he is judicious about it and does not over do it. Moreover, he is a selfless player. At moments we see Boseman serve as a lead blocker where he absolutely blows up defenders, putting his all-and-everything behind those blockers. If Boseman truly is 185lbs, and depending on what kind of time he runs, he could be a monster college prospect.

One of the north's top programs, Ramapo is home to [player_tooltip player_id='1557911' first='Alexander' last='Kavallieratos'], an nose tackle with plenty to like. With his good get off, we see Kavallieratos attack the weak shoulder of interior linemen to knife in the backfield and kill plays before they even get started. His strength is on display at times too, where we see him walk weaker defenders backwards, separate from them, and find the ball as he hustles sideline-to-sideline.

It seems like Seneca's [player_tooltip player_id='212049' first='Anthony' last='Tirico'] has been playing high school ball for about five years already. The irony of it all is that as he embarks on his third year, he has many of the traits that a five year veteran would. A legitimate dual-threat, Tirico is the type of prospect that can kill you from the pocket, run all over you on options and designed runs, or make something out of nothing when things breakdown. A subtle thing that I thought Tirico did well was protect the ball by holding it high as he goes through his progressions. As a runner, Tirico has a second gear and a burst as he gets deeper into the teeth of the defense. Whether it be in the pocket or on the run, he demonstrates outstanding balance when defenders are clawing at him. When on the run, Tirico can reset his feet quickly and throw an accurate ball. The best ball I think I saw him throw on film was on deep-breaking routes such as flags. I feel as though Tirico is an exciting player to build an offense around and his game is reminiscent to former Brick Memorial quarterback Connor Dietz.
