Tennessee 2029 Rankings: 60+ O-Linemen To Know in the State

After a year of finding prospects, evaluating them in person and on film, speaking with different coaches and sources throughout the state, the Prep Redzone Next Tennessee Class of 2029 Rankings and Watchlist is complete. This list contains nearly 400 prospects that are set to make their high school football debut this upcoming fall---and the talent is immense.   A few things to remember:   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Other than the Top-10 overall rankings, EVERY OTHER SECTION IS LISTED ALPHABETICALLY BY FIRST NAME</li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>This list is NOT final and will be updated by Prep Redzone Tennessee as HS careers progress</li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Things change quickly on this level and there may be incorrect information that I simply missed/wasn't aware of </li> </ul>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">Offensive Linemen Ranked in Top-10 Overall</h2>    <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Ranked the No.1 Offensive Lineman and No.2 overall prospect in the initial Tennessee class of 2029 rankings</li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Along with his brother [player_tooltip player_id='1537346' first='Brayden' last='Gonzalez'], Gabriel is unquestionably a day one Varsity starter</li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Has had a decorated Middle School career winning MVPs and championships at nearly event he's been to, including multiple Prep Redzone Next Middle School Combines</li> </ul>     <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Ranked the No.2 Offensive Lineman and No.3 overall prospect in the initial Tennessee class of 2029 rankings</li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Bartlett is bringing in a ton of speed and talent at the skill positions with the 2029 class, [player_tooltip player_id='1704516' first='Eli' last='Turner'] is bringing the size and ability up front</li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>As good as he will be on the football field, he's already eclipsing the standard on the basketball court and won the District MVP for Elmore Park</li> </ul>     <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Ranked the No.3 Offensive Lineman and No.7 overall prospect in the initial Tennessee class of 2029 rankings</li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Along with his brother [player_tooltip player_id='1236042' first='Gabriel' last='Gonzalez'], Brayden is unquestionably a day one Varsity starter</li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Has already started the camp circuit, having camped at West Virginia and has received camp invites from several other programs</li> </ul>      <figure class="wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prepredzone.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2025/07/Steven-Anderson-body.png?w=875" alt="" class="wp-image-1720124" style="width:523px;height:auto" /></figure>     <h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">Top-10 Offensive Line Prospect Watchlist </h2>   **Listed Alphabetically By First Name**    I say it in every write up I do about Hudson, the improvement year over year has been incredible to watch for Hudson. Behind [player_tooltip player_id='1236042' first='Gabriel' last='Gonzalez'], there was not a better Offensive Lineman on the Tennessee Future Stars this year. He's big and can move very well, earning All-Conference honors in basketball and football last year at Eagleville Middle School.     Ensworth only lists one 2029 prospect on their Varsity roster (as of 7/22) and that's powerful interior lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1555070' first='Christian' last='Harris']. Harris is a wide-hipped, thick kid that is only going to continue to get better. I put him with the O-Line because that's where I watched him play at the Fire vs. Ice All-American Game back in November, but I could easily see him settling in as a Defensive Tackle. His father play, who coaches the D-Line at Ensworth, had a seven year NFL career and his brother is currently playing Edge at Kansas.     Surrounded by a ton of talented athletes on last year's Kenwood Middle School team that reached the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System championship game, Hamilton was the size the team needed on both sides of the ball. The All-County selection from a year ago will begin his high school career at Clarksville and is just about all healed up from an off-season hand injury.     Haywood Middle School was well-represented in last year's West Tennessee Middle School All-Star Game, with the biggest prospect in purple and white being 6-foot-3, 286-pound [player_tooltip player_id='1673572' first='Dakylin' last='Proffitt']. He's somewhat raw and needs to work on knee bend/flexibility, but he's an absolute house to have and develop as an incoming freshmen. He already camped at Memphis this summer and more should be on the horizon.     You can look as hard as you'd like, but you're not going to find too many 6-foot-6, 265-pound incoming high school freshmen like [player_tooltip player_id='1305226' first='Haddon' last='Thornburg']. The big man was a can't-miss on film last season as he played for the West Youth Football organization in the MAC and he'll take that size to Knoxville West High School. Thornburg is like building a new house: The foundation is set, the walls are up and it looks great. When he gets all the little things ready, the house will be move-in ready for the next level.     I have a good feeling that Brentwood Academy's [player_tooltip player_id='1704772' first='Hutch' last='Weber'] will ultimately end up on the defensive side of the ball as an Edge, but at 6-foot-5, 200-pounds with elite footwork, he's a dream for an O-Line Coach and Strength and Conditioning coach. Additionally, one of the best basketball players in Nashville. If he goes the O-Line route, he has a frame that could easily hold 50 more pounds before the college level. If he decides to play defense, he will make life for the O-Line miserable.     An All-County selection a year ago, and easily the top Offensive Lineman on Blackman Middle School's roster, [player_tooltip player_id='1552138' first='Knox' last='Appleton'] is headed to the Middle Tennessee Christian School this upcoming season. Appleton is a very strong kid at the point of attack and seemingly understands blocking concepts at a high level. He primarily played Left Tackle last year, but strikes me as an interior guy in the future.     Oakland Middle School has won five of the last six Rutherford County championships in football and that doesn't happen without a lot of talent and quality coaching. While Kirby was not selected as an All-Conference player, watching the big man on film told me everything I need to know. He has a ton of potential to become one of the top Offensive/Defensive Tackles in the state if he commits to it. Kirby is naturally a basketball player, but has the size and feet to become a D1 lineman.     The Mustangs of Houston High School are getting the services of [player_tooltip player_id='1702107' first='Steven' last='Anderson'], a prospect that blew up big time during the Tennessee Future Stars vs. Kentucky Future Stars in June. Blessed with good size and mobility for a 6-foot-3, 260-pound incoming freshman, Anderson has just started hitting the weight room and his numbers are impressive. Already benching 265-pounds and squatting over 400-pounds, he's only starting to scratch the surface of what he can and will become.     After making the move from Offensive Tackle to Center this past season, Briarcrest Christian's [player_tooltip player_id='1305188' first='Zaviaus' last='Miller'] upped his stock a ton. Miller is an absolutely massive kid for someone who is just beginning their high school career. Two years ago, after seeing him for the first time as a seventh-grader, I compared Miller to one of those old, boxy refrigerators. Not only is he reliable up front, but he brings an attitude that the whole line can feed off of.
