After a year of finding prospects, evaluating them in person and on film, speaking with different coaches and sources throughout the state, the Prep Redzone Next Tennessee Class of 2029 Rankings and Watchlist is complete.
An extension of the coaching staff on the field and poised beyond his years as a Quarterback. Very well put together for a prospect just starting his high school career. Does a nice job of zipping the ball into tight windows, but can also let it fly down field with ease. Appears to have a nice grasp on his arm strength and can accurately deliver the ball with good velocity to multiple levels.

Morton was nothing short of spectacular during his middle school career at Ensworth and will begin new at Oakland this fall. He makes some truly special plays and brings dual-threat ability, making him a very dangerous QB. Throws the ball very naturally and has a strong release. Making off-platform throws is nothing out of the norm. Has impressive pocket awareness and if a play breaks down, he uses mobility and easily extends the play.

He'll join his brother [player_tooltip player_id='819521' first='Eli' last='Garrett'] at Cannon County this fall, who returns after earning All-Region honors a year ago in his first season as a Quarterback. As for [player_tooltip player_id='1614250' first='Corbin' last='Garrett'], he was an All-Conference selection in both football and basketball during 2024-2025.
Briarcrest Christian has a very good group of Freshman coming in this year, and Quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1698826' first='Riley' last='Bingham'] is one of those standout players. A tall, lean 6-foot-2 and 160-pounds, Bingham accounted for 20 touchdowns last season as an eighth-grader, in addition to 1,173 passing yards. The consummate pocket passer, he does a nice job of standing tall in the pocket and delivering strikes.

Watching Montgomery Bell Academy's 8th Grade Team from a year ago, [player_tooltip player_id='1704822' first='Tucker' last='Daniel'] was the player who repeatedly jumped off the screen on each play. Daniel played the QB position well and showed off dangerous dual-threat ability and overall athleticism. As of 7/19/25, he's also the lone 2029 prospect listed on the Varsity roster--which shouldn't shock anyone. His father played at Southern Miss and older brother Payne Daniel is currently playing at Vanderbilt.
