Fessel is North Harrison's workhorse, and I don't think there's a better word for him. He never comes off the field and keeps going snap after snap. He carried the ball 300 times for 1,941 yards and 19 touchdowns, averaging over 6.5 yards per carry, which is ridiculous at that volume. On defense, he put up 140 tackles with 10 TFLs, and 81 of those were solos. He's all over the field and doesn't take a play off. I love how he competes, and the way he handles that heavy load says a lot about him. He's just a tough, dependable player who does it all.

Lindsey was flat-out fantastic last year and one of my favorite guys to watch. He's got unreal speed and has been clocked at 4.57 in the 40, and you can see it every snap. He plays on the back end but always seems to find the ball. Putting up 135 tackles with 11 TFLs and 5 sacks from a DB spot is incredibly impressive. He triggers downhill without any hesitation, covers ground fast, and finishes when he gets there. I love how active he is and the energy he brings. He's a game-changer back there, and it feels like he's only going to keep getting better.

I just came across Mallory, and I'm not sure how I missed him until now. He was an absolute animal for Lawrence North last year and has the size and presence that jumps off the screen. He's well built and has no problem mixing it up in the trenches if needed. He finished with 130 total tackles, 6 sacks, 6 PBUs, and 2 blocked punts, which was good enough to get him an All-State nod. He plays with an edge and looks like a rising star who has the tools to play at the next level.

Arnold was solid last year, but he took another step this season and leveled up across the board. He jumped from 84 tackles as a sophomore to 118 as a junior, and you can tell the work in the offseason paid off. He put on weight, and it showed up in the trenches, helping him play even more physical. He's at his best near the line of scrimmage, where he can shoot gaps and mix it up. I love how he plays downhill and isn't afraid to set the tone.

Shreve burst onto the scene this year and made a name for himself in a big way. He's a twitchy athlete with good range and fits perfectly on the back end because of that burst. He racked up 111 total tackles with 76 of them solo, which is impressive for a DB. He also grabbed an interception and broke up 3 more passes, showing he can hold his own in coverage downfield. He's not just a cover guy either. He'll come up and make tackles in open space without hesitation. I love how active and fearless he plays. He's a true playmaker on the back end.
