The Toledo area boasts a rich tradition of attracting some of the best recruits in the state, and sometimes in the country. Here are some of the prospects in 2025 that you need to know about this fall, as they will impact their teams in huge ways and college programs in the future.

[player_tooltip player_id='321724' first='Ali' last='Beydoun'] - Toledo Central Catholic - QB - 2027

I had a chance to see the QB for the Fighting Irish this Sunday at a training session with 4th and Goal Athletics. Ali now weighs 191 pounds and stands at approximately 6'1" in height. His accuracy has improved, and you can see that he will be more physically imposing as he puts on good weight for this fall. Still waiting for his first D1 offer, and I believe he has the talent to earn one this fall with the loaded state runner-ups in TCC. Expect a breakout season with Ali at the helm full time for the Fighting Irish and another run at a state title.

[player_tooltip player_id='1719583' first='Kyler' last='Koopmans'] - Toledo Whitmer - OL - 2026

Kyler is an athletic offensive lineman capable of playing almost any position on the offensive line. His athleticism, strength, and toughness contribute to his status as a dominant force. Whitmer is anticipated to be the best team in the NLL every year, and with a strong offensive line and a talented group of running backs, they are expected to be a team to watch as they progress deep into the playoffs. Kyler currently holds eight scholarship offers, and he is likely to attract even more attention as the season unfolds.

[player_tooltip player_id='1676132' first='Jamon' last='Holmes'] - Toledo Whitmer - RB - 2027

Jamon holds five D1 offers, following a stellar 2024 season that he showcased for us. Jamon is a downhill and physical runner with good feet and vision out of the backfield. His film features his adaptability to different defensive schemes as he finds the open hole and powers through it. Holmes will be one of the best backs in the area, and if you are a fan of an old-school back who can get the job done with power and grit, then Jamon is the one you want to see!

[player_tooltip player_id='1526785' first='Eli' last='Beal'] - Toledo St. Francis de Sales - RB/DB 2026

The real deal, "[player_tooltip player_id='1526785' first='Eli' last='Beal']," is one of the most electrifying athletes in NWO. His speed and athleticism have garnered him a handful of D1 offers, and you can expect to see more of them coming his way. In 2025, he had 25 rushing touchdowns, four receiving touchdowns, and 1600 all-purpose yards to finish off his junior season. Beal has a chance to end up a Mr. Football finalist with his improved ability and play style; he has a very high ceiling if he can reach it.

Jacob Spoonmore - Bedford (MI) - ATH -2026

Jacob Spoonmore, a dynamic two-way standout from Bedford High School (MI), is a name to know this fall. The 5'10 ", 156-pound senior brings explosive athleticism and versatility to the field, starring at slot back and strong safety while also contributing on special teams. A smooth route-runner with quick burst and excellent vision, Spoonmore is dangerous after the catch and excels in space. On defense, he's instinctive, physical, and always around the football. His background in track and field translates into real on-field burst, making him a threat to score or make a game-changing play on any snap. Coaches praise his work ethic, toughness, and football IQ, and with continued development in strength and technique, he's a legitimate small-college prospect. Expect Spoonmore to be one of southeast Michigan's most electric and reliable playmakers this season, capable of turning momentum in all three phases of the game.
