. Ali had an especially great first half. He consistently picked apart man coverage, going through his reads quickly and finding whatever receiver was able to earn separation. Generally, I’m very impressed with how Ali read the field during the entire game. I only counted one inaccurate pass in the first half, and he got into an amazing rhythm. I can tell that Ali is one of the smarter QBs in the midwest.
In the second half, Ali had some points of struggle. Cass Tech seemed to have given a lot more zone looks, and Cass Tech did an amazing job blanketing the Toledo CC receivers. With less consistent windows, Ali held onto the ball longer and was forced to throw it away on several occasions. Now, I’d need to watch the all-22 to see how much of the 2nd half struggles were on Ali vs. Cass Tech’s elite secondary. Though, there were definitely more mistakes on Ali’s part in the second half.
Another great aspect of Ali’s game is his athleticism. Whenever the pocket began to deteriorate, Ali did an excellent job exploding outside of the pocket while keeping his eyes downfield. Really impressed with Ali’s ability to evade pressure while keeping his eyes on his receivers.
I don’t see any offers on Ali’s Twitter. From the one showing, it looks like Ali could earn MAC offers. If he’s not a D1 prospect, he’ll almost certainly earn D2 offers in the coming year. I could see a school like Grand Valley State loving what they see in Ali.

Ali got playing time as a sophomore last season and impressed. He’s got a great arm and showcased good zip on the ball in his film. He’s quick to react to pressure and can make plays with his legs. He’s got a great processor and can get off his first reads to make a play. With a pivotal junior season coming, Ali will look to solidify himself as one of several FBS quarterback prospects in the class.

I seen Ali in Canton during state championship weekend. He impressed me with his ability to manage the game for Toledo Central Catholic and made several plays to help out the offense. He opened up scoring with a tough run on 4th and goal and worked the short game all day long. The week before, it was Ali who found a late touchdown to cap off a 65 yard drive against Ursuline in a 7-6 victory. Beydoun has the talent to put together a good junior campaign, and he’s already shown that he’s ready for the biggest of stages.

In my opinion, Beydoun hasn’t gotten enough love for his performance on Friday night. Beydoun didn’t have an electric stat line or performance, but it was his ability to continuously move the offense on 3rd down and to make plays while being off-script. Early in the 1st quarter, it was Beydoun who evaded the rush and dove for the endzone on 4th and goal to open the scoring for Toledo Central Catholic. For a sophomore, Beydoun showed a ton of promise for next season and I will be excited to see how he progresses.

Beydoun handles pressure well, and can make plays either passing or rushing under duress. He can seek out a defense both pre and post snap, and is very good at staying on rhythm and finding open receivers. His arm is impressive and he can beat you deep if given the opportunity. His release is very snappy and looks well developed for a sophomore, which helps his ball velocity and gets the ball to his weapons with zip.

I saw Ali as a seventh grader at a training session, and it’s amazing to see how far he’s come over the years. Beydoun connected with wide receiver
