Timpview faces a tough non-region schedule, and August is potentially a brutal month, so the September games are a must-win for them. If they can sweep these four games, they'll be fine for the rest of the season.

Timpview has a four-pack of tough opponents this year, and they start the season with back-to-back tough road games. I should state, I played matchmaker for their August 22nd matchup with American Fork, one of the team reached out to me to assist in finding an open opponent, and I was able to match Timpview and American Fork together. The August 29 matchup is a big game, as the Pula twins come back to Timpview. If they can find a win in one of these games, that should set them up tremendously for the season and get them to postseason play.

2025 Outlook:

Region play could very well come down to the September 26 matchup with Orem. Timpview loses a lot of production from last year, but they have a lot of emerging talent that is ready to showcase their talent. Let's get to know who they are.

Key Players:

Tua'one is our overall #1 prospect for the 2028 class. He is going to be the Quarterback for the season and has spent the majority of the offseason at the position. He has a background as a signal caller dating back to the youth program. He processes defenses quickly, has a quick delivery, and throws a nice deep ball. His velocity is good and he knows when to lay it in and when to take something off. Tua'one showed good ball placement all offseason during 7's. He knows when to check down and when to take deep shots. He throws a great deep ball and a nice, tight spiral. It's never a bad thing to have your best player touch the ball with every snap, and it'll be exciting to see how Tua'one does as the signal caller, but make no mistake, he is an elite receiver, and where his future will be. Think Hines Ward, Antwaan Randel El.

Manuma is an elite signal caller, and it's likely he plays on Thursdays for the entire season, but he is a player to know. He throws a nice intermediate and deep ball, has good velocity, and the ball jumps out of his hands. His time at varsity is likely next season, but he has all the tools you want in a blooming elite prospect at the position.

Tuha will likely garner significant playing time. He showcases good vision, lateral quickness and is good in the open field. Being motioned out to get him moving presnap and orbit sweeps are ideal for him.

Richards has exceptional size and moves well for a player of his size. He is good at vertical routes and displays good speed. Richards is strong at the catch point and excels at contested catches, where he can shield the defender away from the ball. Richards is going to be deadly in the red and green zones; he has every right to garner double-digit touchdowns. He's going to be the WR1 this year for Timpview.

Fiatoa comes in from powerhouse St John Bosco in Southern California. He is an athletic defensive back that can play anyone of the four positions and can also be an off-ball backer if needed. That versatility will make him an important part of the defense.
