2027 Rankings Update 5.0: RB

The most recent class to be updated in the state of Kentucky is the class of 2027. With our new Top 150 posted, I will now be breaking these rankings down by position. He had another strong season as a sophomore, leading his team in rushing with 107 carries for 847 yards and 11 touchdowns in 14 games. Talbert has the vision and patience to find the running lane then uses his speed to hit it with a sense of urgency and run away from the defense for big gains. He has also proven to be very shifty once he hits the open field, hitting quick cuts to make defenders miss. Talber also showed the ability to line up in the slot and pose as a threat in the passing game as a sophomore, catching nine passes for 145 yards and a touchdown. England has very explosive speed which he uses to burst through the running lane then run away from the defense with ease on long runs. When defenders are able to catch up to him, England has shown the elusiveness to make them miss and strength to break tackles without losing stride. Josiah also caught eight passes for 99 yards and a touchdown this past season. Brock is a strong runner, showing the ability to keep his legs churning through contact to break tackles without losing stride. He has also shown a lethal stiff arm in the open field along with the speed to break away on long runs. Kasen has also proven to be reliable in the passing game, catching 28 passes for 417 yards and five touchdowns last season. He also made an impact on defense, finishing the year with 26 tackles, two tackles for loss, and an interception. He finished this past season with 221 carries for 1,510 yards and 24 touchdowns in 12 games. Hanshaw has impressive vision, showing the ability to find an open running lane when the backfield clogs up then hitting it with a sense of urgency. Once he hits the second level, Hanshaw has shown the strength to break tackles and elusiveness to make defenders miss along with the burst of speed to run away from the defense on long runs. He also caught nine passes for 128 yards and two touchdowns as a sophomore, and played a huge role on defense, leading his team with 56 tackles along with 13 tackles for loss, five sacks, and one interception. Berry played a key role in Trinity's state championship run this past season, running the ball 130 times for 780 yards and 12 touchdowns in 12 games. Jamaurion is a strong downhill runner, bursting through the running lane in a hurry and showing the contact balance to bounce off defenders without breaking stride. He has also shown the burst of speed to run away from the defense for big gains once he hits the open field. Berry also finished his sophomore year with 11 receptions for 85 yards and two touchdowns.
