We dive in quickly to Part 2 of our DL standouts from the second annual UWEC Big Man MEGA Camp in Eau Claire last Thursday. There were several prospects on this list that I would offer right now, the best 2028 prospect I saw, and all and all plenty of prospects that you will be seeing at the next-level as the talent was on display in Blugold Country on Thursday night.

Nate Schieif, DE, Forest Lake, MN 2026 Twitter

Nate may have been one of the smaller defensive ends in attendance, but I could not stop watching this young man's reps on Thursday at the UWEC Big Man MEGA Camp. His low-pad level showed off numerous times that he was able to get under the pads of the offensive linemen he went up against and won a handful of reps that I witnessed. He had one of the fastest 10-yard splits in the entire defensive end group overall and it was clear watching his reps that translated to to his live reps. Nate showed off a very sudden first step and I was impressed with how smooth he was with his physical hands going up against bigger competition as his twitch and soft hands surely showed off he has the skills to play on Saturdays.

[player_tooltip player_id='1223467' first='Eli' last='Grand'], DT, Ellsworth, WI 2027 Twitter

Eli looked to show reps on both sides of the trenches at the UWEC Big Man MEGA Camp on Thursday in Eau Claire, but I was surely drawn to his defensive tackle reps in my eyes. This young man has bouldering strength that on a handful of reps bullied the offensive linemen easily out of their stance as Eli also kept showing the high motor and finish I have seen this young man play with camp after camp we see him at. I could also gauge from the last live eval I got on Eli, that he has developed his twitch off the snap even quicker than last camp season. A young man that has A-grade character, work ethic, and a sound yet still growing football IQ, should be a 2027 that has position flexibility in the trenches that college coaches should track early.

[player_tooltip player_id='1570838' first='Brody' last='Tittl'], DT, Brookfield East, WI 2027 Twitter

Brody was a defensive tackle that you could not miss on the eye-test alone and showed off even more than just the eye test on Thursday at the UWEC Big Man MEGA Camp. Talk about a big man with very physical hands at the point of attack, as he was one that from rep one to his final rep, you could see the quick developmental curve he made from taking in coaching from the Blugolds staff. In his 1v1 reps, the 6'4 310 pound put those hands to great use maneuvering an offensive linemen out of his way like he wasn't even there with that pure strength in his hands. There is some upside with Brody to grow heading into his senior season, but you can't tell me there isn't a college coach out there willing to develop him further as this young man has very impressive weight room numbers that translate to the field from what I saw in Eau Claire.

[player_tooltip player_id='627633' first='Jacob' last='Downing'], DL, Hartland Arrowhead, WI 2028 Twitter

Jacob was easily the best 2028 prospect I felt overall in attendance at the UWEC Big Man MEGA Camp on Thursday night and got on my radar just in time during 1v1s. The fluid get off that Jacob showed in his reps off the snap was eye-catching as he displayed damaging strength and pad-level at the point of attack. That wasn't all Jacob showed off either, as his agility he had for his inside moves would not make you think this young man has just wrapped up his sophomore year as he showed off the pure instincts pre-snap that knew how to elevate his game quickly off the snap. He surely is a 2028 prospect I will keep my eyes on our of Hartland Arrowhead in the coming years.

Brayden Boesch, DT, Centennial, MN 2026 Twitter

One of two Centennial Cougars that caught my attention during the UWEC Big Man MEGA Camp on Thursday night was 2026 defensive tackle Brayden Boesch. On one of a few reps I watched out of Brayden, showed a persistent grueling motor for his size and was excellent with destroying blocks with his pass-rush moves which showed off plenty of versatility with the different amount of ways he was able to not only get offensive linemen off-blance, but also had plenty of strength that he showed off during his reps getting them to the turf. I particularly liked the swim move that Brayden showed off hedging thru contact in tight areas to get into the backfield. No offers as of yet, and that certainly surprises based on what I saw on Thursday night.

Zach Safka, DE, Greenfield, WI 2027 Twitter

Zach was one of the most intriguing 2027 defensive ends I could grasp from his live reps at the UWEC Big Man MEGA Camp on Thursday. He recorded an impressive 7.27 in the L-drill at around 6'0 240 pounds. The Greenfield defensive end impressed me even more with his live reps as one that I felt played with a chip on his shoulder with every rep I got to watch and possessed the excellent hands with his get offs on his blocks in pass-rush. I also loved the high motor that Zach played with in every rep I got to watch on Thursday as a 2027 in my eyes that is on the rise in the state of Wisconsin based on the live eval we got.

[player_tooltip player_id='1251501' first='Alex' last='Vasquez'] Jr, DL, Kenosha St. Joseph, WI 2026 Twitter

Alex was a 2026 defensive linemen I wish looking back I could have watched more of his reps, because what I saw at the tail end of 1v1s was quite impressive, as this young man won every rep on Thursday night at the UWEC Big Man MEGA Camp. You could not miss how wirey and agile Alex was in the reps I did get to watch as I was highly impressed with just how physical this young man was at the point of attack as once he drew contact with the offensive linemen he could overwhelm them quickly and in these eyes looked like one of the best finishers we saw in the defensive line group on Thursday in Eau Claire and picked up his well-deserved first offer.

[player_tooltip player_id='948106' first='Sincere' last='Williams'], DL, Kenosha St. Joseph, WI 2026 Twitter

Sincere is a 2026 defensive I can recall being a standout of mine his sophomore year at our Prep Redzone Wisconsin Showcase as I could surely tell the development this young man made in the live eval at the UWEC Big Man MEGA Camp was superb. Sincere showed off excellent hands and leverage in Eau Claire on Thursday on the handful of reps I was able to watch out of him as it didn't take long to notice how powerful his hands are at the point of attack. Another skillset that popped out from Sincere during the live eval in my eyes, was his elusive ability to adjust his hand placement quickly on the fly in which with that adjustment he was able to get the win during that rep, one of a few Sincere had on Thursday night. He has a couple D3 offers to his name, but I am surprised that Sincere doesn't have a D2 offer yet as myself and our other PRZ scouts in attendance were really impressed with his live eval.

Houston Luce, DL, Ankeny Centennial, IA 2026 Twitter

The first Iowa defensive linement that caught my attention at the UWEC Big Man MEGA Camp hailed from Ankeny Centennial in 2026 defensive linemen Houston Luce. Houston in my eyes shows off position flexibility in the defensive trenches, as the suddenness he showed off in the live eval caught my attention. Houston was one of the higher motor athletes I saw in attendance, as I loved how strongly Houston finished his reps on Thursday in Eau Claire. Not only was his motor on point, but he showed off how agile his hands were when he had the offensive linemen on an angle, getting off his blocks showing off a fluid get off which if you watch his tape, you can gauge is quite consistent.

London Cornell, DE, Bay Port , WI 2026 Twitter

I heard it from the college coaches I talked to and I saw it myself, that Bay Port 2026 defensive end London Cornell had one of the most twitchy first steps out of all the defensive ends at the UWEC Big Man MEGA Camp. He also had the best testing numbers overall in the L-drill with a 7.06 and went 1.17 in the 10-yard split which is top-tier in the whole group. London might not have been the biggest defensive end that I have ever seen, but man the downhill ability that London could play with quickly, drove several offensive linemen way off balance as I was impressed with how much strength he could draw quickly showing off plenty of athleticism at his disposal. He was another DE that caught multiple PRZ scouts attention on Thursday night in Eau Claire as one that surely showed he can play on Saturdays, as one you go outside the measurable threshold for.

[player_tooltip player_id='1220726' first='Landon' last='Michlig'], DE, West Salem, WI 2026 Twitter

Landon was a 2026 defensive end in the 2026 class that had a plethora of attention from college coaches on Thursday night in Eau Claire and rightfully so based on the reps I got to watch. The nearly 6'4 230 pounder from West Salem also boosted a near 6'8 wingspan and he showed with the reps I watched he knew how to utilize it to his advantage. His hands were persistently swift getting off his blocks and during indvidual reps Landon showed off his hip flexibility which processed with the tight angles college coaches wanted to see with the size he had at his disposal. He also was versatile with his pass-rush reps during 1v1s and has great power in his hands to win reps in muliple ways. Just one scholarship offer thus far really surprises me based on what I saw on Thursday night in Eau Claire as Landon was also second in Wisconsin for tackles for a loss last year.

Caden Sieker, DE, Rhinelander, WI 2026 Twitter

If I were a college coach handing out offers at the UWEC Big Man MEGA Camp, there is no doubt after watching the live reps my first offer would have went to Caden Sieker of Rhinelander. This young man won every single rep that all of our PRZ scouts watched and won them with authoritative hands at the point of attack. Caden had my favorite rep on Thursday night overall, as after one athlete got kicked off the drill, it was this young man that stepped up quickly and wasted no time digging in and utilizing that extrarep to his advantage, showing off a very swift pass-rush move to easily win the rep which to me was teach tape with his hand placement and excellent pad level, very quick shed off hands, and the wirey motor Caden showed off that our scouts saw was persistent on every rep he had. He picked his second offer on Thursday night in the WIAC, but I have no doubt scholarship level schools should start calling this young man as every rep he showed that he had something to prove to the college coaches out there.
