Centennial, yet again, has some monsters in the trenches as they head into fall camp. Especially on the defensive side of the ball. 2027 DT Brayden Boesch Brayden Boesch 6'2" | 255 lbs | DL Centennial | 2027 State MN was one of our favorite watches from the 2026 summer camp circuit, regardless of position. Boesch, especially at stops at the Minnesota Gophers’ prospect camp and NDSU’s first-ever FBS camp, was one of the single most impactful – as well as physical – competitors in attendance. NDSU Head Coach Tim Polasek personally shouted him out to get individual reps against a monster OL from Laramie, Wyoming at camp, and he was maybe the most physical and functionally strong/powerful DL we saw all summer. Unreal bend and overall pad level during the 2026 Summer Camp SZN. Seemed to fire off the ball completely parallel to the turf, and when combined with the strength, power, and physicality and you had a heckuva tough 1v1 matchup for OCs, OGs, and OTs alike. Boesch reported a St. Thomas offer on June 19th and ended up committing a month later to a growing list of powerhouse instate prospects for the FCS Tommies’ 2027 commitment class.
The ATV of a 6’3, 265ish pounder had a strong 2025 campaign, showing off some twitch, a great get-off, a strong base through contact, and brutal hands/punch/overall hand usage. He displays impressive closing speed and real-deal pass rushing juice from the interior against MN 6A Big School competition. He can unlock his hips, shows a nonstop motor, and was a beast in the middle of Centennial’s defensive line last fall, both in run and pass defense. Tommies got a good one!

What an easy defensive prospect to love! Centennial’s Brayden Boesch Brayden Boesch 6'2" | 255 lbs | DL Centennial | 2027 State MN is on a tear this summer on the camp circuit, making one of the strongest and most lasting impressions amongst the literally thousands of kids that PRZ has scouted in the first three weeks of June. Coming out of the Land of 10,000 Lakes, a recruiting territory the Bison seem to recruit better than just about anyone, Boesch was an audible and noticeable favorite of head coach Tim Polasek, who was thrilled, much like PRZ, by Boesch’s unbelievably strong & violent hands and initial punch. With about as much bend as about as good of a get-off as PRZ has seen this current Summer Camp SZN, Boesch was coming off the ball with bad intentions and like he was shot out of a cannon, sometimes completely parallel to the ground it seemed. He was eating D1 offerees for lunch during the board drill, with the pad level, bend, and power had him personally called out by Tim Polasek to battle with a Wyoming-born-and-bred Hog Molly for the final reps of a session. Plus, Boesch demonstrated active and effective hands and some quickness and lateral agility during pass pro 1v1s. Whoever lands this Centennial Cougar is getting themselves a stud.

What an entrance to the recruiting scene for Centennial Cougar Brayden Boesch. The Cougs have some dogs on their 2026 roster, and 2027 DL Boesch put the whole state on notice on Tuesday night at the PJ Fleck RTB Prospect Camp thanks to his individual performance. Boesch a complete bulldozer, was arguably the biggest winner of the Board Drill, and he sure made himself known in physical fashion to open up the padded reps. Boesch, measuring in at 6’1+, 250 lbs., opened things up with arguably the #1 most impressive rep of the entire camp, getting off the ball like he was shot out of a cannon and completely obliterating a large, rising senior OT in humiliating fashion. Boesch may have had the most effective bull rush in attendance. The raw, dominant pop, along with his hand placement, strength at the point of attack, and leg drive was putting together some eye-popping wins against big, heavy opponents, maybe the most of any one individual performer during the Board Drill. Boesch even held his own and then some against a Golden Gopher commit in attendance. Talk about opening some eyes, Boesch earned a Drake offer after the camp and really put some fun context into his 53′-07.50″ shot put PR this spring. Boesch is a straight-up bulldozer and should see a fruitful summer on the camp trail.

A name that hit my notebook a few times at Tuesday’s Minnesota prospect camp was Centennial 2027 defensive linemen Brayden Boesch Brayden Boesch 6'2" | 255 lbs | DL Centennial | 2027 State MN . You want to talk about blasting physical hands, just go watch the DL reps Brayden put together at camp on Tuesday as he showed off a wirey get off that was very quick and effective of making quick work with his very physical leverage and excellent hands. I also caught Brayden during the testing period, and he was one of the best defensive linemen I saw when it came down to how he finished every rep. He tested really well for his size and frame and it’s no surprise to me why he got his first FCS offer on Tuesday night and probably has more FCS attention coming his way.
